We tried Kao for a new experience. Loved the colors and use of shipping containers for the building.I had skirt steak it was great but the broccoli was soggy and drowned in butter. They gave a hard bread as we sat down to eat but they gave a nice soft bread with the meal. It would have been preferable to be served the soft bread as we sat down because it is a preview of what's to come.I was shocked when we received our bill and they charged us an up charge for titos dirty martinis. We should have requested the manager but we're running late for a show. They charged $24 which is outrageous when other drinks on their menu were around $15.It was a nice cool night so it was comfortable to sit outside, but the chairs were small and hard. It didn't make for a relaxed comfortable experience.

The food and atmosphere is excellent. A fairly remote location but one that invites you to enjoy. Their food is more of a grill with some interesting variations. Good drinks and variety of beers.

Excellent service & food! We had a larger group & large food order and everything we had was amazing. I got the skirt steak med rare, cooked perfectly. ? Also, Get the melted provolone cheese app, amazing flavor. Ambiance was great minus the few trains, but we didn't mind.

The service was excellent, with attentive staff who made me feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout my meal.As for the food, it was simply impeccable. Loved this casual restaurant. The sliders were excellent, I was surprised how good the asparagus, potatoes and the flank steak were. We also ordered the cookie skillet with ice cream and tres leeches. The weather was nice, so we sat outside. We had Moscow mules for cocktails. There was also a DJ who played music at the right volume , great music selection. Overall very nice place. We will return .

We liked this place. My skirt steak was delicious, satisfying portion, sucks that I forgot to take picture of it.Gourmet potatoes were good.We dipped everything in their slightly sour chimichurri sauce and had 3 of those.Milanese steak was ok.Ambiance is really cute. Reasonably priced, and the food came out quick.

They had a back up bartender making drinks. The drinks were hardly full for 15$. My steak. Had to be returned too fatty. They gave me Skirt steak was very good but need to ease on the salt. We love this place. It's was an off night. We will be back

Monday night was a great time to go. We were among a handful of diners. No pizza, that was a disappointment, but everything we had (chicken and pork lettuce wraps, grilled octopus) was fabulous.
