We had heard about Mikang from our neighbor who raved about the food and nice atmosphere, so we said, sushi?? Let's go! First, the parking lot was big enough for all of the strip center businesses, but we went at dinner time, so it looked like some businesses were already closed, which left ample parking. Now, the good part... mikang has a varied menu, so all of those friends that won't eat/try sushi have choices also. But, really? Why have friends that don't eat sushi!? ;-D We started with their ginger salad. It's always, for us, a test to see how good it is. And yay! The dressing was unlike any we've had, and super yummy and crisp! Then the sushi. We weren't exceptionally hungry - one of those mega sushi meals where we put away 5 rolls - so we just had 3. I wish I remembered the names, but one had eel, one shrimp and a tuna. The menu had a lot of super rolls that are beckoning me as I write this...maybe lunch today?? The atmosphere IS nice, but you know that weird feeling when you go between mealtimes and there's only one other table in the place? Well, that was us. It felt like any conversation we had would echo, so we stayed pretty quiet. I really want to check it out when it's bustling, because we had fantastic service, but hard to really tell about service when the two tables each have a dedicated server! My rec is to try Mikang for sure! We were impressed, again, by the quality of raw fish and a great rollup! They are professionals and we will definitely return. I'm serious, it might be today!!

I was pretty blown away with this place! I had two of their traditional or classic rolls, could have been considered specialty rolls elsewhere, the Triplefin and the Rainbow. The rolls were heartily packed and tightly rolled, fish was fresh and delicious. They weren't too busy and everything came out pretty promptly, which was awesome! I took home the spicy chicken bulgogi entrée which was also very tasty! Highly recommended!!

First I’d like to say that I’ve had sushi from many different states and outside of the country. This is by FAR the MOST amazing sushi I’ve had in a very long time. Usually I’m expecting the same old rolls and atmosphere. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I’m never surprised. This place surprised me. The food is prepared with mindfulness, care, authenticity and creativity. I don’t feel like I’m sitting down at a generic pop-up sushi restaurant when I come here. This my second time coming here, and I will continue to come here/recommend this place to others. If you want a relaxing, delicious experience, come here!

Came here when they first opened and it was great. However recently I visited again and the service was super slow. It almost seems like there isn't enough cooks preparing the food. There's plenty of servers and tables however the food that comes out is slow. Other than that. Food is good. Service speed is slow.

I never get let down with any roll but my favorite is the soft shell crab roll ?? I love the miso soup you can get it with or without seaweed. I went with my vegan friend they had the best time with all the selections!

First time here, loved everything. The double belly was my favorite sushi roll, and my wife's was the mango tango. River was great as a waitress and we enjoyed every bite. We'll be back for sure.

We had been here last year and truly enjoyed the dishes , my husband and I ordered the bulgogi entre last time the meat was tender and full of spice worth the 25 dollar tag! HOWEVER, This time I felt I was eating cubed steak!!! Luke warm and full of onions and little vegetables. It lacked flavor and typical spices you would expect for the price … it was disappointing to say the least!! The only part of the meal that was up to standards was the miso soup .. Either the chef was on vacation or they thought they could deceive patrons with a cheap cut of meat at the price of a better cut!! Never never again !! Very sad
