The bread is good, the bad thing is that they almost give it to you in your hand, they give you little bags that I could barely hold my bread. What a horror, I think they don't even have enough for the bags.

Sincerely I was very amazed by the cleanliness, kindness and extraordinary costumer service of their staff, especially the owners. Their products in my opinion are the best of the market especially their butter cupcakes which are very tasty and remarkable. They sell a pretty variety of Cuban pastries and treats which are going to take you back to the memories of your childhood.

I purchased a 12 oz. package of El Faro Bakery “cornbread” and it was plainly labeled as cornbread. I sliced a piece and noted that it was very sweet and I wasn’t convinced it was cornbread. This is the ingredients: enriched wheat flour bleached flour niacin, iron, thiamine, folic acid sugar yellow corn meal. Plus a myriad of other ingredients. My question: Wouldn’t the first and main ingredient for cornbread be corn meal? Actually it tasted more like pound cake. I think the ratio of corn meal to wheat was reversed or they need to get a person to sample their recipe that knows what cornbread tastes like! I really think it was mislabeled since I bought a loaf last week as cornbread and it was cornbread.
