I'll preface with you should know what type of restaurant this is and set your expectations accordingly. This is a small, family operation that makes home cooked Cuban food. It's outstanding! Tastes great and the service is spectacular. I'm from Minnesota, in Miami for work, and the gentleman behind the counter was very respectful to the fact that I am not a local, don't speak Spanish, and don't have much experience with ordering Cuban food. Not sure why I’ve never added a review about this place. Been going there for years now, even after moving far, everytime I’m in Hialeah i make sure to stop by. Please do yourself a favor if you ever around the are order the palomilla steak from this place. Wow ? the best. You will thank me

The food is really very good. Much better than the el palacio de Los jugos or Soriano brother places. You can tell it was cooked with care. Phil’s service is way and beyond any place in the area, very patient with my usual indecisiveness. I went with a starving stomach but left with a grateful heart.
