Excellent food, service and friendly environment. We had an excellent fresh fish from the Colombian Caribbean Coast. “Sopa de Pescado” and “cazuela de mariscos” was delicious. They have the best Colombian food from the north coast, I’ve had. Can’t wait to come back for my mojarra.

THE SERVICE KILLED THE 5 STAR REVIEW:We had the opportunity of eating in this very mentioned Colombian Restaurant on Sunday afternoon. I have decided to give a constructive opinion since the potential of this restaurant is huge. And there is room for improvement. We ordered (a group of 4) Mojarras, Carne en Posta and some of the Appetizers in the Menu, empanadas, Arepa de Huevo and Bollo de Mazorca with White Cheese.Good food, good seasoning (Authentic Flavors from the North Coast of Colombia). The dough of the empanadas a little thick (my personal opinion is that a thinner dough will make the empanada crunchier). The Arepa de Huevo was excellent as well as the Bollo de Mazorca. The cheese not as good but overall a good complement to the Bollo de Mazorca.Mojarras, very good and well cooked. The side dishes, Arroz con Coco and Patacones de Banano Verde also good. The service from the person that was taking care of our table made the overall experience a little disappointing. The appetizers, beverages and silverware took about 30 minutes to be delivered to our table. When we asked for the empanadas our server didn't know if there were more to offer to us. According to him since we went at 1:30PM to eat, they probably ran out of empanadas. We had to witness him eating behind the counter and handle people's dishes right after. He forgot about our beverages and we had to ask to a female server for our drinks and she finally was able to bring them to the table. Very courteous by the way.Back to my point, the potential is there but the service needs to be improved. A family owned restaurant doesn't mean a lesser level of service. On the contrary. They need to make the dining experience pleasant to secure returning customers. My experience is not probably the typical experience that other customers have had, but sadly this will be the one and only time I will go to this place. Sadly because the food was good. Sadly because I am not able to recommend without mentioning what happened to me during my visit.Food: 5 Stars, Presentation: 5 Stars, Ambience: 3 Stars, Service: 3 Stars.

Food experience is amazing offering typical dishes from the North Coast of Colombia especially recommend the coconut rice and fried fish. Additionally the catering service is top level if your having an event at home or office!!!! Highly recommended

Good food however the price structure is out of whack. After enjoying a meal you are handed a bill with an additional "service fee" where in any other place is the tip for the waitress.I don't mind paying that at all but when the waitress informs you that the fee is for the house and not them, then I have an issue. Will NOT be returning.

Food was just great! We had the fried fish and the seafood soup (cazuela de mariscos). I’ll come back every time I can.

After driving 40 min, they charge $27aech for a "Casuela de Mariscos" this is a seafood cream nothing of sea food inside. Never go and ask for this. What a disappointment... negative review at all... Sorry for the owners.... Very bad service for to go orders.... and the Arroz con coco very hard rice bad bad bad.

The food is amazing... it's a whole in the wall authentic colombian from the coast cuisine. The only bad thing is that I have to argue with them every time at the time to pay because of a hidden service charge they put on the bill. It's not even tips they explain it as a service charge for the service that the restaurant is giving. Since when do you hear that? That's like stealing from you. There shouldn't be a service fee added and then tip on top of that.
