They only sell cakes, not making bread anymore, only all kind of sweets and pizzas.

Mirlitons!! That's all I can say. The ONLY place where we have found these beauties. The bakery is small but that's ok. We were in and out in 5 mins. I went just for the Mirlitons. Each sweet has a cost of $1.5 and since I wanted a few I opted for the box, which contains 12. The box was $18, weird since it made each sweet $1.5 If I had know I probably would have mixed the Mirlitons with "tartaletas de coco y De guayaba". Next time. The actual "Meliton" was mouthwatering. I'd confidently give it an 8/10. I just wished the pastry part was a bit crumblier. I remember it harder. Un poquito mas crujiente. Nevertheless, Yo repito.

I came in to order the $19 cake and pastelitos special - and when I asked them to NOT decorate it (less labor and cost) I was charged a fee, I had to pay them to do less work. That makes no sense.

This is the best Cuban pizza I've had in Miami hands down. Puts Rey's Pizza and Montes de Oca to shame with their crispy cheesy edges, perfect balance of sauce to cheese ratio, and just the right thickness of the dough. Is the highlight of this place for sure. Try the pizza, any of them delicious. I tried their classic cheese spaghetti and it was nothing special although still good. Their ice cream shakes delicious, made out of pure ice cream, sort of like sueros :) Yum! From the bakery side, they're known for their militones and africanas so I had to try those and YES is true and worth all the buzz they've been getting for them. The flavors take you right back to when you first tried them as a kid in Cuba. It was a nice surprise down memory lane. Now... be ready to wake up in the middle of stereotypical Hialeah when you snap out of it. Patrons are mostly Cubans, with all the stereotypical bells and whistles included. Tight shirts and leggings 3 sizes too small, fake hair clip on pony tails, long acrylic nails and of course the gold chains and their corresponding medallas. We even got a drunk random person stick his head through the door to yell "esto era mejor en Varadero" LOL I mean, definitely entertaining, but I wouldn't make it a sit down enjoy your pizza and africana kind of place. Is a tiny bakery with 2 tables that sit 4, and a very small case where you can see their pastries and cakes displayed. YES go and check it out, is part of Miami's cultural melting pot and YES the Pizza, Africanas and Militones are a MOST! Me... I'll place my order to go and be in and out next time. Peace!

I'm guessing that my bakery standards are possibly a little high. Born and raised in Hialeah we have one on every corner and this is really not a good one. The prices are really expensive I was a little shocked. The average price for a colada is 1.25 this is 1.50. A large Cafe Con Leche of evaporated milk is $5. Their pastries are definitely small and nothing special they are pretty much in line with the ones you get at Publix or at Winn-Dixie. It has nothing that would attract you to go in there and make a purchase. I give it three stars because I don't think it's right to give anybody one or two stars unless the people were just nasty and the place was disgusting and this is neither. They're just not a good example of s Cuban bakery

When visiting clients early morning in Hialeah, La Fe Bakery the foto place for breakfast. They have a huge assortment of pastries made fresh everyday. I often order a cortadito made with evaporated milk and also the ham and bacalao croqueta. One other pastry I suggest you try is the paste LITO de queso with coconut that absolutely incredible. Definitely 5 stars for the Hialeah bakery!

La Fe Bakery used to be one of my places to go when I used to live in Hialeah.... I used to love coming here to have their baked goods. It was one of my favorite bakeries in the area and I have to say I truly miss it as I have not found a good bakery yet in Homestead. This bakery has a huge assortment of deserts, cakes, meat pastries as well as sandwiches, cafe con leche and Cuban toast/bread. This weekend I was hankering for some good Cuban bakery goods and was able to get a platter of bocaditos as well as ham croquettes... absolutely delicious...tears to my eyes missing this delicious. And of course how can you not go to a Cuban bakery and take home some mouth watering Cuban bread.... Wish they would open a branch near my house.

I went in to pick up some stuff for my family. I asked if two particular items were dairy free and both women who were at the counter shrugged their shoulders and said they did not know, everything comes in containers and it's labeled on the containers in the back. I asked them if they could please check the containers so that I can bring something for everyone. They told me no! They then said no the two products do not contain dairy after telling me they were not sure if the products container dairy or not. I asked to speak to a manager and both women pointed at each other! So not only did they both lie again but they couldn't even get a manager to help me when it came to an allergy and each said the other was the manager! I asked them what they do when someone comes in and wants to buy something but has an allergy and they responded that people who come in to buy eat everything and are not picky.. again this was about an ALLERGY and not me being picky!! They told me to just go ahead and buy it and that everything would be fine. I told them if I buy it and it ends up making someone sick that they will then be at fault and are liable because I am clearly asking to avoid a possible food allergen. These women were extremely rude and unprofessional!! I have frequented the bakery for years and it's sad that I need to leave a one star review but it's even sadder they could not take a minute to walk into the back and look at a label. I have never come across an issue like this at any other bakery or restaurant. They did not care about a potential allergen that could've made someone very sick. My family and I will never support this business again! It's a shame!!
