La Carreta never disappoints! Although some will say it's not "real Cuban food," as a non Cuban, it tastes pretty real to me. We enjoyed the Vaca Frita and Ropa Vieja. Don't forget to get the colada at the end of your meal to seal the deal. Good stuff!

Food is excellent but being asked by a server for more tips is ridiculous. Service was average. Soups came with the main course instead of as an appetizer, then it took a couple minutes to get spoons....when we wanted to pay and it took a bit. Server seemed exprienced but didnt speak english very well and needed to bring a Spanish menu to match up the items.

In the cafeteria on the corner at the front there is an obnoxious Nicaraguan lady the others are nice but this lady should not work with customers with her bad face and bad manner
It was very unpleasant to have breakfast on the highway of 16 and 53 in Hialeah paresis box food all of very poor quality I have to go to the one on 148 in Miramar there are more I will never go
