This place closed about a year ago with no reason why, and I really need to know why because this was some of the best Chinese food I've ever had in my life and was the only really authentic place in the area. The vibes were impeccable and everyone who worked there was incredibly nice. The karaoke was also super fun and I haven't found another place like MSMR. I have a hole left in my heart now because I will never know what happened or if they relocated or anything. If anyone has any information on what happened please let me know!!!

I can't wait to come back! It's hard to find good Chinese food in Miami, but this place hits the spot. I reserved a room ahead of time, then we easily walked in for dinner about 1.5 hrs before. On a Friday night at 7:30, there were still mostly families eating, when we left at 11 it had transitioned to the karaoke dinner crowd.Favorites in order:- Salt & pepper octopus, was recommended over the calamari, so crispy and delicious, I wanted 10 orders- Beef stew with tofu skin, felt more like a well sauced entree than stew, but another tasty dish, tofu skin was so good- Soy sauce chicken, it's in the name, definitely salty but juicy and flavorful- Chicken fried rice, was solid, I would to try the house special when I come back, or probably focus on all the other delicious optionsI would order your "vanilla" friends some fried rice and wonton soup. My more "flexible" friend and I were going hard, but the other 2 seemed didn't care much for our other dishes. I thought everything was delicious and wish I had more room to eat.The soju options were all very sweet. I'll probably stick to sake or well drinks next time.Carried our sake straight into the room after dinner and our same server did a tutorial for us. Even after that the karaoke interface was a bit confusing and lacked a couple western classics. It seemed searching by artist yielded more options than title. I did what someone else recommended and had written down a list. Also looked at my spotify throwbacks playlist and there was plenty to keep the fun going. We were hoarse from singing our faces us off for 2 hours. The smallest room had plenty of space for the 4 of us. Service was great, they kept the drinks coming. Was such a fun girls night out, the robots helping bring out the food were fun. Reasonably priced and super friendly service.

Amazing service, food was amazing, and a robot served our food every time. It was so inclusive and accommodating. Great experience, can’t wait to bring my family back here.

My first time trying octopus and I'm not disappointed. The salt and pepper octopus is very good. Also ordered the Chinese broccoli which is one of my favorite vegetables, it came exactly the way I wanted with a nice garlicy flavor. They are a bit expensive but my food is delicious so I really can't complain. I'm eager to try their salt and pepper wings next.

Msmr is super fun. The Sevice and food are excellent. Family run business. The private rooms are awesome!!! Try the chicken wings and the special fried rice.

Can't wait to go back! My husband had read about this place and we had been curious for a while but finally made it there a few days ago. First of all they have an ample selection of Chinese food on their menu... and not just your typical dishes but rather some unconventional and very interesting options. Of course we wanted to try everything but it was just three of us so we had to limit ourselves to enjoy what we had on our table and keep drooling as the cute robots on wheels delivered some really appealing dishes to our neighboring tables. We ordered the salt and pepper baby octopus, garlic ribs and Macau style chicken. Everything as delicious and the portions so generous that we didn't make it to the dessert. Although... my son and I had to have pearl Bobba which it's kind of a dresser on itself. I do love the fact that they give you options on how sweet you'd like it and they also have two different sizes at a very reasonable price (hey, boba tea can be pricy!). They also have a selection of hard liquor and beers (my husband had one). Now, it's not just your Chinese food restaurant, here comes the fun part... they have KARAOKE rooms you can reserve and rent! They have three different sizes depending on the number of people as well as different packages that include food or an amount to spend on it. They ah e a large screen playing videos and a stage where maybe they have live music, have yet to find out (Another excuse to go back). Everyone was super friendly and helpful and that's always one of the key elements of the dinning experience.Man, writing about it made me want to go back sooner that I had anticipated. And today is Friday

MSMR Restaurant & Karaoke has some quality food and guaranteed good time karaoke in Miami Lakes! This restaurant has an open space in the main area with karaoke which you can sing on a mini stage plus has tables for food you can order. You can also reserve a private karaoke room which is what we did for my friend's birthday. We had to last minute switch from a small room (fits up to 8-10 people) to a large room (fits up to 25 people) and the staff was super helpful and flexible since they did have one available at a later time. (We originally had booked for 10pm and had to switch to 11pm.) We waited with our group of about 17 in the open dining area and ordered some food. If you do this, I believe the tab for food outside the karaoke room and the payment for reservation is separate. For the private room, they require a $40 deposit on the room. That charge is deducted from your final bill when you pay at the end. The room comes with some sodas/waters and appetizers. The amount of these items depends on which room size you get! I didn't eat too much but my friends said the food was so good and karaoke in a private room with friends always guarantees a good time! You aren't allowed to bring in outside food or drinks but they do allow you to bring a birthday cake. Reserving a room was super easy with a phone call to the business and a quick look at the options on their website. Luckily, I was able to reserve a room for the next day and I got a text confirmation after the reservation and deposit were complete. The room is reserved for two hours and when your time is up, the room system automatically knows and closes out. Definitely recommend MSMR for a good time with karaoke and good food!

This has become our favorite place! Staff is always very welcoming and nice. We come here frequently for the food but the karaoke rooms are so fun! The prices and packages for the rooms are so worth it. We've tried so many dishes here and enjoyed them all. Some of our favorite dishes are the orange sauce fried fish fillet, buttered chicken, beef chow fun, and fried egg plants! The boba is also very delicious. Highly recommend coming here!
