I ordered the papardelle with shrimp and lobster (45). The pasta looked like Pennsylvania Dutch egg noodles and tasted like they were cooked in old briny fish water. Dry with no sauce at all. I asked for some sauce and was brought a tablespoon portion of some garlicky white liquid. One of the worst meals ever. The rest of my party had satisfactory meals. Nothing exceptional. One and done.

We looked forward to eating at DelBar, formerly Kork, in Hobe Sound. Four of us dined there on a beautiful Friday night. Our server was very nice, and we don't hold her accountable for our disappointment. We were the only patrons in the dining room. The outside patio was not too busy either. Two of us ordered the special, Beef Wellington, which was really delicious. My husband ordered the prime rib, and our friend ordered the rib eye. Both cuts of meat were very sub par. It took them a few minutes to finally say to us that the meat was very tough. My husband kept at it, hoping it would get better. It did not. He kept chewing, and then removing pieces of meat into a saucer. When we alerted our server, we were offered a slice of carrot cake with 4 forks. So, he paid $51 for a poor piece of meat. We realize that times are hard for restaurants, but something is wrong if a place has no patrons on a Friday night in the middle of tourist season in Florida. I hope that DelBar makes it. We did not ask for the meal to be removed from our bill, but it should have been an option. The plate full of chewed and discarded meat should have been acknowledged. We won't return and for that we feel badly. It is a beautiful place.

Food was incredible! Service was very good, Amazing ambiance ! The new owners seem to value each customer's experience and the new chef puts a really special emphasis on taste and presentation.

We were only 5 minutes late based on our reservation time and the hostess called me as I was walking in. That was a little over the top! She wanted to sit us at the high top by the front door, but that was not what we reserved. It took them 15 minutes to get our correct table... Food and service was very good...
I have no idea about the food but they made me rate it so I just gave the food 5 stars. We made reservations through Open Table for outside seating (specifically, per Open Table) for 7 pm. When we arrived for our reservation we were told that outside seating was first come only. We were lectured that “this is how restaurants work”. We are in our fifties and eat at nice restaurants weekly. We know how they work. So we left and had a nice dinner at one of the many other restaurants in Hobe Sound. Then, the hostess (owner???) called me at my home two days later to tell me they had corrected things with Open Table. She did not apologize or anything. She said this was just to let me know that when I came again outside seating would be first come first serve. Lols. When I come again. Hahahaha

Great Valentine's Day dinner.. beautifully done white tablecloth roses on table and nicely spaced tables .. and not rushed at all.. great food , service and music... Highly recommend Del Bar in Hobe Sound
