My family and I came here to celebrate a birthday. We each ordered an appetizer and entree. I tried the Burrata and fig salad, grilled octopus, steak frites, and the burger. Everything was amazing, and the burger was the best burger I’ve ever had, and the grilled octopus was probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The steak frites was amazing, the steak and frites were both cooked perfectly. The chimichurri sauce on top of the steak was delicious. The fig and burrata salad was phenomenal as well, the cheese melted in my mouth and the pistachio pesto was delicious. The service was a little slow but our waitress was super friendly and informative of the menu. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion dinner.

I don’t usually post reviews, but felt compelled after the experience I had. I’ve dined here a few times prior to the new ownership. unfortunately I’ve been in the northeast quite a while and wasn’t aware. From what I experienced the food was much much better with original ownership. However the food was overall ok, nothing to go back for but ok. The atmosphere has turned into a cheesy wanna be Italian mob scene. If you hire singers at least hire a singer with experience, poor young lady was embarrassing herself. I’ve been around for many years and know that this location was Hobe Sound Grille a couple of years ago owned by John Doyle, probably affiliated with him considering the name. Which would explain a lot. My overall experience could’ve been saved if the bartenders weren’t inebriated. For every drink I had they had two. I know the business and know that bartenders get drinks here and there. But purposely making the wrong cocktail and laughing it off by saying “it’s ok I’ll just drink it” is one of the most unprofessional act I’ve ever witnessed . I think it goes without saying I will not be returning. Good luck Hobe Sound Grille or The Grille or whatever your name is.

The atmosphere is very nice , the service was equally good. The salad that I had was listed as a wedge? Looked more like smashed lettuce head. The shrimp cocktail was good, although the plating was lackluster. My filetmignon was good, and cooked to temperature requested. My wife had the shrimp scampi, which she said was done very well. The biggest disappointment of the meal was "The Lobster Tail ".... I can assure you this it looked like Lobster but ,,, it was more like a whipped mash potato with some fragments of Lobster... Calling the managers attention to this matter, he agreed and quickly took the tail away.He apologized for the inconvenience and took it off the bill. He also compted us with a cheesecake. Now came the bill, 1 mixed drink and 2 beers they also add on an 18% gratuityto every check. Our total was $198.00Unfortunately, Hobe Sound, needs some variety in restraunts, in my opinion this one has Ruth Chris Steakhouse pricing without the quality...

Good drinks at the bar. Definitely an older crowd. The buratta fig salad was made with dried figs, so that was very disappointing. All of our steaks were cooked a bit off, 2 over cooked and one was under cooked. I don't see a need to go back.

We went for Valentines day, so consider that. First staff was excellent, and was great with recommendations. The Beef Tartar was excellent, but the bread it was served was almost stale. Dishes are large, if you're looking for something small, not sure what you are ordering. Filet was average with sides Ala carte. Salmon was excellent. Chairs. Out side seem low for the table.Give it a shot, but I thought other restaurants in the area does food better.
