I gave this place two stars because I feel horrible leaving a bad review during Covid. However, i do feel the need to warn my fellow vegans. Uber eats calls this place "Alexandra's vegan cafe" and i expected something more along the lines of Raw juice bar or even Giardino's. This place is anything but. I do regret not looking at the reviews since it would have spared me from all the trouble. Anyway i ordered the black bean burger which is my go to choice when i don't know the place. Because tbh how bad can a black bean burger be? Very bad apparently. I would not recommend if you are vegan.

Ordered through grub hub. Delivery was timely. Food was awful. Ordered black bean burger which comes with fries and ordered side of sweThe description of the black bean burger was not what we received. The burger lacked crispy outside and could not be eaten by placing it in the bun.

I ate here this week. I happily brought my friends. We got the grilled salmon with rice and beans. We were all disappointed. The cashier seemed annoyed to have to take out orders. The lady who was cooking came to the front and she was polite. Unfortunately the food was bland. The beans had a taste of no seasoning and as if they were dumped from a can into a pot and warmed up for a few minutes. Fish was over cooked and the rice was okay. I'm also confused how three entree were "cooked fresh" in 8-10 minutes. I'm confused as I've eaten from the vegan menu in the past and the food taste much better. I would not recommend this restaurant if you want authentic and properly cooked food. Look elsewhere

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I drive 20-30 min from West Sunrise for their excellent vegan menu. The vegan Cuban is AMAZING. It’s my favorite thing on the menu. They offer a ton of vegan items which is greatly appreciated in the vegan community. The restaurant is located in a small strip just East if I-95 on the North side of the street. If you’re not looking you can easily miss it. There are only a few street parking spots up front so look for parking in the back. Another review mentioned it being “sketchy” but there are cameras in the back and I never feel unsafe on the short walk to the front entrance, even at night. If you’re vegan and in Hollywood this place is a must.
Placed an order of the chicken strips on uber eats, this is phenomenal cooking.This is exactly the food I was craving hits the spot of my childhood great flavors and great quality.10 out of 10

First time customer and definitely not my last time. One word: whoa. Bout time we have a vegan friendly Cuban restaurant in south florida! I'll start with customer service, I called ahead 2x and there was no answer. Disappointed because we were really looking forward to trying this place out. Started pondering where else we could get lunch when my phone rings, they called me back. Phew. Place order for 2 sandwiches and some rice and beans. Head over to pick up. Doesn't stick out much. Cute and clean storefront nothing special. Sits amongst a pizzeria, a Mediterranean joint, and a bento place. Quick service, the food was ready and the transaction went quickly. Get home and dive right in. It's flavorful and delicious. The Alexandra's sandwich has a bit of heat but is cooled down by slices of perfectly ripe avocado. The Cuban is loaded up with vegan meats, mustard, v cheese and pickles and is just absolutely dynamite. They have several options and I am looking forward to trying everything! I knocked off one star just because it seems a tiny bit more on the expensive side, about 40 bucks for 2 sandwiches and rice and beans. But for real, if they can do vegan food this delicious I am sure everything else on the menu will be delicious too.

This is an amazing place, hands down ! We came here for the coffee but stayed for the food. The food and service is always on point. Not pricey at all, I work near by so this is my to go to place whenever I need a quick and lunch. This right here is home food !I highly recommend this place !

Love the vegan options, reminds me of my childhood without the guilt. The Cuban sandwich and picadillo are hands down my favs. Even if you're not vegan I would said give it a try, I can bet you'll never taste the difference.
