This is a great restaurant right at the beach, good food, good service in a great atmosphere. So then, why the 4 stars? Beware of their tipping policy. They are not doing anything illegal but, to the unsuspecting tourist, it is very easy to trick them into double tipping. I see this a lot in touristy places in South Florida. They automatically add a tip (18%!) and then, in the final credit card bill they add another line as "Additional tip". They will argue that "additional" refers to the tip already included, but again, to the unsuspecting customer, it may mean additional to the total of the meal. It's a trick and I am quite sure a lot of people end up giving 30% or more as a tip. And yes, you could reduce it if you feel like it is too much, but that is not the point. The tip is the grading that the client gives to the establishment and the establishment should not take the roll of "suggesting" it.

They brought us the wrong side with one of our meals, and then charged us for both the wrong side and the right side.They charge an automatic 18% gratuity, and then use a card reader that gives you options to leave an 18%, 20%, or 22% tip. This is compounded on your original tip. Really dishonest way to try to cheat customers out of a little extra money without them noticing.

Came down to the beach for vacation and found this absolute gem of a restaurant. The steak empanadas in combination with the chimichurry sauce is the best singular food item I've ever eaten (I am a chef for what it's worth as well). The bartenders, kitchen staff and management are hard working, friendly, wonderful people. If you're on the Hollywood boardwalk and need great food and drinks stop here. Hands down the best place you can go.
