Fabulous long weekend staying at The Diplomat Beach Resort. Our King Corner Oceanfront Suite was spacious with a beautiful oceanfront view. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to all requests as well as our early arrival.
The Hotel Bar was a lovely place to grab late night drinks after dinner, both Eddie & Michael made fantastic cocktails and provided perfect service- give those gentleman a raise!! Gotta love bartenders that feel like friends by the end of the night.
Definitely reserve a beach cabana for the day it is well worth the money and Andrew was incredibly attentive checking on us throughout the entire time. It puts you right up front with another ocean view, a super comfy daybed with sun protection, umbrella, table and 2 lounge chairs. The beach servers were also fantastic & quick to bring anything we ordered. The watermelon margarita is delish as well as the ceviche.
This is definitely now our go to place when we travel to Ft. Lauderdale area!

Tay made this evening fantastic. Granted, it was Superbowl night, but the staff handled it with ease, confidence and the charm expected of a 5 star resort.Again, the staff here are second to NONE.WONDERUL.

We went on a Monday night, not busy, maybe 15 people at the bar. Around 9 at night. Sat at the bar for over 5 minutes and both bartenders completely ignores us. We wasted an uber ride to this beautiful hotel and had to go somewhere else for drinks and dinner. Sad- horrible service. Actually, it was non existent service.

Just wrapped up a trip to the diplomat and I have to say that Carlos was amazing. He’s truly a master of his craft and takes great pride in his cocktails. I enjoyed getting to know him the few nights we were there. If you’re in the area I’d highly recommend stopping by and finding Carlos to make your drink!
Reviews are right staff is not great, slow service and not very pleasant not many food options did not eat just had a drink

We stayed here for our anniversary. It was nice and I’d have to really reach hard to find anything worth complaining about. But the rooms were def nice, the views were amazing, and we had a great time.
