Ordered from this restaurant on UberEats… the only nice thing I have to say is none of the containers leaked. The sushi itself looked fine, but had some concerning attributes. For one, it was not cold by the time it was delivered after only a 20 min drive. I used to work in food service, and it should have been cold by the time we ate it. It was served with ginger so dry, I’m shocked it didn’t blow away when we took off the container lids. My boyfriend ordered crispy noodles. I’m not sure what the dish should look like, but I don’t think it should look like ramen that was microwaved with no water added. The aroma from the broth to be poured on top of his noodle chips smelled rancid, think of a tuna flavored canned cat food. He licked the lid after pouring, and a string of the goo stretched between the lid and his lips, at least 3 inches long. Hopefully we’re not sick in the morning. Driver was delightful.

I ate there yesterday and I have to say that it was quite a disappointment. I know how to recognize good sushi and god, this is hard to find in South Florida. I was full of hope when I went to Imasa Sushi because of the good reviews but I was really surprise to see that the sushi had only the taste of vinegar. The rice was so cooked that it was chewy. The fish that they put in their roll is definitely less fresh than the one they put in their sashimi and you can taste it. I don't even understand the concept of putting mayonnaise in the sushi but they did it, they put a weird mayonnaise and it worked as it hide the flavor of the caught-a-week-ago fish. The restaurant is not really clean. However, my biggest chock was the clients. A bunch of families screaming and yelling. for $15 the 6 pieces of roll, I would have appreciate if it was not the zoo while we eat. Next time I can just go the Chucky Cheese. Honestly this place is a place I used to go before and it used to be really good and the food was way better last year. The alcohol though is delicious. I went for my 7 year anniversary and was really disappointed. I don't recommend going there.

First time eating from this restaurant and the server and food was great. The utensils weren’t thoroughly cleaned and they were spiders and spiderwebs on the windowsill. A little spring cleaning and maybe changing the dish detergent, this place could be five stars.

It’s nice sushi for the immediate area but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here. Ordered some specialty nigiri and the slices were a little thinner than I’d prefer, but the flavor was good overall. Sushi rolls were standard, service was great.

Twice they took my reservation, only to inform me I’ll have the next available table (will have to wait up to 15 minutes) when I got there with my party. The servers are good, the place is a bit noisy when crowded, food is good. I used to like this place for my family but will never go back after coming with guests only to be told we need to stand around and wait.

Stepping into Imasa Sushi, you're immediately hit with a chill vibe that's just as welcoming as their amazing staff. It's not your uptight sushi spot; it's the kind of place you want to hang out, laugh, and dive into some seriously good eats. The sushi here? Incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and served with a side of creativity. You can tell they really care about what they're dishing out. And the team at Imasa makes the whole experience even better. They're down-to-earth, super helpful with recommendations, and they keep the good times rolling. In short, Imasa Sushi nails it. Great food, great people, and a laid-back atmosphere that’ll have you planning your next visit before you've even left. Definitely a must-try spot for anyone looking to kick back with some top-notch sushi.

I take out from this restaurant once or twice a month. Lately they’ve been getting the orders wrong. Last time they left a whole order off. I called them at that time and they were going to give me my money back. They said it would be 2 to 5 days. It never happened. I caught him back a week later And they said they’d give me the money back in a week. . When I asked to talk to the manager, she wouldn’t get on the phone. They definitely don’t know how to a restaurant. It’s a shame because of food decent.

My review is solely based on food because I ordered delivery and have never been to the actual restaurant. the food was packaged well. They even plastic wrapped my soda to avoid spills or anyone possibly tampering with it. I ordered crunchy fried rice - the rice was not crunchy in any way. The rice barely had color. The chicken had no color. Food lacked seasoning. I had to add soy sauce at home to be able to give it some flavor. I also had a dragon roll - it was a bit small compared to others i have had. It was good though, and ingredients were fresh. The spicy mayo was more like mayo. No color and definitely no spice. All in all i probably wouldnt order again.

Placed order on Door Dash. Order was incomplete. I had to call 3 times and was put on hold for a total of 20 minutes before they gave me a store credit. No food - have to go in person ??

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars since I regularly order their takeout, and it's always amazing. I dined in thinking it would be equally great. Unfortunately, it wasn't. To start, the service was not very attentive (may not be their fault as it was a little busy). The food was pretty good, but not as good as it usually is (from takeout). The atmosphere was way too busy and loud for me, but that's just not my cup of tea. I will be ordering here for takeout again. I will not be dining in.
