We both had three tacos each. We had shrimp and mahi. He had steak and I had mushroom. We also enjoyed chips and guacamole while looking at the ocean watching folks go up and down the broad walk. They have several sauces to choose from our favorite was the habanero. The service was excellent thank you Jenny!

Been here twice and the first time was much better than the second. Why is your food cold when it comes out of the kitchen ? I don't get it ?! its cooked thoroughly, but everything was luke warm at best. Average spot for tacos and they charge a 18% fee just for sitting outside. Not cool! Never again!

Lovely brunch this afternoon! Just adorable place with lavendar and green decor. Offers inside and outside dining on the intracoastal. Cocktails included wine and lemon spritzes. Enjoyed the Spice trio with pizza, chicken Milanese and pasta bolognese.

Atmosphere is great, service is great; food is solid-very good. Portions are good as is value. I usually have grilled mahi tacos; shrimp or carnitas. Ceviche also very good. All have been moist and tasty. I give it a 4 stars, because it's good but not so outstanding to warrant a 5 star review- but it's a good local joint.I considered deducting a star because the grilled Mexican corn is absolutely terrible. Mushy, overly coated with some tasteless seasoning- just horrible. it summer; the corn should be sweet and pop. They must be preparing it way ahead of time, I've tried on 3 occasions thinking maybe a bad night; nope-just bad corn. And the black beans and rice are also so so. To the owners- please fix the sides; it should be easy. Or serve something else fresh as a side. I do like your place and would love to leave a better review!

I took a chance on this place while I was in town. It was a little bit of a risk because there were only 2 reviews lol. But I'm so glad I took a chance! The food was amazing. Both burritos Baja and steak were delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area. Tasted fresh and had a ton of flavor. They also had four great sauces to choose from, all were spicy but unique. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The ambience was perfect, exactly what you would want next to the boardwalk. Laidback and beautiful views.

Looking for a chill spot to dine on the beach? This place is perfect. We really enjoyed everything!! The service was great and on point. Just wow! Seriously Hollywood Beach's addition the Mermaid Queen is a new beach foodie destination.! What a delicious and healthy choice on the beach in a classy remodel on the boardwalk. Super clean environment. Great service. Will be back again & again.

I really enjoy the tacos and the mojiotos are decent considering they don't have a liquor license and use designer wines to make the drinks. The put some kind of wired mayonnaise sauce in the tacos, request to NOT have it on yours.
Man, this place has excellent drinks and tacos, but you have to be committed. The wait was way longer than quoted, then we had to wait forever to close our bill. They weren't short staffed so I'm not sure what the problem was

Tempura soft shell crab tacos is so delicious!!? ? the drinks are fantastic ? ?the service was great. A bit of a wait....but worth it. Can’t wait to go there again ♥️

A long wait time, it’s a rather small spot so beware of that. However the food is great, especially the tacos. Definitely worth the wait. Pretty good service and the food is worth the price. For being right on the beach it’s a good price. I had a mojito which was great and my friend had the quesadilla which she enjoyed.

Sorry to hear that this little place will be closing. It's said that the owner of the building will be doing a hotel in the spot and The Taco Shop will no longer be. Had the pleasure of having Kevin from Columbia as our server today. This kid is really a good server. Lots of love, kindness and a super smile. There was another server, from Argentina, he was also great at communicating with us. The steak tacos were really tasty and the giant piña colada was off the chain. Sitting outside was sweet. Nice shade and a great breeze. Oops forgot to mention their guacamole...amazing!!! This place is always busy and now I see why.
