Casual night out or fancy dinner this is the spot. There is nothing bad on the menu EVERYTHING is absolutely delicious. Pricing is great for the quality of the food. Drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is chill. The decor is cool they serve the water in liquor bottles and the decorations are from the prohibition era. Can rent the room in the back for private parties it has a TV and domino tables . Most nights they have a live dj there is a spot up front for dancing. And if you are coming from out of town the redland hotel is on the second floor. Eat here ALL THE TIME. It’s our go to spot in HomesteadDietary restrictions: Chef is very accommodating with food restrictions and allergies and while most of their dishes have meat they can modify and do have menu items that are vegetarianParking: They have a small parking lot attached to the building and across the street is a larger one. Never have an issue with parking or vehicle safetyKid-friendliness: Even though there is a bar very kid friendly and the kids menu is delicious and large portionWheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp at the front entrance

For our 14 year anniversary I found this amazing restaurant. As we arrived the parking lot was full as I called the restaurant to let them know about where to park a on the phone said no problem I’ll be right there. Little did I know he moved his car for us to park. Man I’ve eating in many restaurants and never had experience someone from the restaurant or any one giving up there space for a customer. Little did I know he is the man him self the owner of the place we also had the privilege to meet his partner too. his staff was incredibly super attentive to my wife and I and made our anniversary super especial. From the cocktails to the appetizer and the dinner was above 5*. You have to come and check it out for your self. I’m a fan and will be back. Thank you. | | Recommended dishesBang Bang Shrimp, Hanger Steak, City Hall Tostones, Chimichurri Lamb Chops, Crab Cakes with Smoked Salmon

What a great experience! We just moved to the area, and as we were celebrating our 14 years anniversary, we wanted to try something nice and my husband found this gem very close to us! From the moment we arrived, the owner was super attentive and kind to move his car and lend us his space to park, he came by our table several times to make sure we were getting the best attention. Our waitress Tina was super friendly and energetic! The food was so delicious, from the crackling seasoned pork skin, to the Crabcakes, the Bang bang Shrimps, my husband had the Hangar steak(super good), and I had the award winning Chimichurri Lamb chops with Sweet Potato Mash(WOW, you need to try). The drinks were also on point we had a Guava Margarita, and a guava mojito. The atmosphere is Excellent! Don’t take my word, come experience it yourself! 10 stars experience!

Stop right here!! Don't go anywhere else in the area. When we walked into the restaurant, we were amazed at the beautiful ambience, welcoming hosts - multiple of them, that made us feel as if we were welcome family members. Then... the food... the drinks... the smiles from every single person who served us both at the bar and dining room. The musician who played the saxophone added to the already perfect dining experience. Even the chairs were the most comfortable we have sat in. Now, back to the food - absolutely delicious, fresh, great portions and did I say absolutely delicious?? We even went here twice during our short visit to Homestead. Please don't pass this place up but keep this just between us. Sometimes when you find a great thing you don't want everyone knowing... it's just our secret....ssshhh...

This place is a true hidden gem that should be shared! The cocktails made by mixologist and bartender extraordinaire Ivan are simply amazing. Right balance, great flavors, and well measured pours make for a seamlessly lovely lazy afternoon, without exception. As for the chef, he is an absolute genius! The tuna tartar with avocado and fried wontons was a true delight as a starter(appetizer). I've had blackened salmon(the "L" is silent) but never as well balanced and with complexed flavors that melled with pasta! He graciously paired it with fettuccine, and the sauce was beautifully smooth and creamy with layered flavors that took me back to Italy! It was as if the salmon(the "L" is silent) was caught just for this meal in itself! Thank you to the wait staff and owner, who greeted us and everyone with a smile. The remodel makes it feel like new meets old, and it all just works! So if you are in the area and you can't figure out where to go, go off the beaten path and hit the City Hall Bistro, you will not be disappointed!

I came here with my girlfriend around because it was well reviewed and apparently under new management. Overall I want to say that nothing in here was terrible. My problem with this place is that it feels like it has an identity crisis. When i walked in we were told to sit wherever but after looking over the tables quite a few of them were dirty. So we just sat in the dining area by the bar. The food was ok, I had Chicken alfredo and the chicken tasted like it was just boiled and sauced. The sauce itself was ok but definitely didn't taste fresh. If im being honest it is not worth the $24 they charge for it. My girlfriend had a cheeseburger and this was actually pretty good. It was just odd that they served it to her in a bowl. Burger on top and fries on the bottom, it just made the fries all soggy. The drinks were fine but they served us water in a reused liquor bottle, was there no budget for pitchers? Staff was hanging out by the bar while a game played on the tv. Which i normally do not mind but it felt like no one was really paying attention. There were only 3 other people dining in at that time so why did i have to constantly have to try and call my server? Why are there just tables sitting dirty? Its just the little things that come off as odd about this place. It feels like this place is pretending to be more than it is to me. Expectations are always there with restaurants so when they do not meet yours it feels a bit personal because your still left with the tab. In this case in the end i left feeling like i was a bit cheated by the price to quality ratio. Not terrible but in my opinion not worth the price. If you have eaten across the street at Chefs on the run then I hope you can see my point.
