I was hoping to try some Nicaraguan food, but this place is mostly Mexican besides a few dishes. I had the spicy shrimp which came with refried beans and rice. The beans were a very water consistency. The shrimp has good flavor but the tails were still on. My friend got the oxtail and he said it was okay. Pretty chewy. Has a nice outdoor tiki area. With a few adjustments this place could be better. Add some more Nicaraguan options! Service was relatively attentive.

We had a little Yorkie and wanted to sit outside. We got kicked out. Won’t go back.

Let me start with the name....Nicamex don't know where the other reviewer got the Nicaraguan food because this is a Mexican restaurant owned by a Nicaraguan there is NO Nicaraguan food here. I ordered the chips and pico and I wish the server would have told me it was HOT good but HOT....the I ordered the carne asada tacos and they were surprisingly good. The place is huge with lots of potential but the menu is very limited and there is no guacamole or desserts.By the way the guy at the entrance looks like a CPF that is guard in Nicaragua....I might come back to taste the beef soup.

Food was good but they don't give you tortillas for your dinner

The food takes long but it's worth the wait, the food is freshly made but the serve is horrible, there is no warm greeding but the food makes up for it
