We had such an enjoyable time at mi bella in Homestead. We started with a Mulita, which was under the specials menu. It was almost like a sandwich, but with Tostone-like bread with delicious meat, lettuce and cheese inside. The cooked carrot garnish on the side added a nice crunch. I am of Guatemalan descent. There is only one other Guatemalan restaurant in Miami, which is near Marlins Stadium. I was delighted to see another one and in a different part of town. They have only been open for a few months. There are a few traditional Guatemalan dishes. I had the mixta, which was delicious. They also have Mexican dishes. Prices are very reasonable. We came to try a simple thing, the horchata and the atol de elote, phenomenal, we will return in the afternoon for lunch let's see. So far great, they opened like 2 or 3 months ago, May God bless you and prosper you.
