The beef ribs were amazing and all of the sides we tried were spectacular. Shout out to Patrice, our server, who went above and beyond to accomodate our very tired and cranky daughter’s demands. She was also super friendly and efficient.

Local BBQ spot that is always busy, but definitely worth the wait .... Burnt Tips are ohh so delicious!!
Had the half chicken. Came out hotand juicy. Had good flavor I would have asked for a little more smoke myself. Fries were hot as well. Coleslaw could have used a little more vinegar or something - slightly watered down.

The food was good but the service was trash. I did a take out order, I called first and was put on hold. I arrived and was still on hold on the phone. I got in line and ordered while still on hold. The lady at the window was very rude and has a terrible attitude. I ordered a sweet tea 10 minutes after placing my food order and the cup was not completely full with very little ice and the lid was half way off. The lady placed the cup outside the takeout window and said here you go and shut the window. She definitely need some training and an attitude adjustment. I waited 15 more minutes for my food which was not an issue. The issue was I ordered $70.00 worth of food and wasn’t given no bbq sauce for my ribs, and chicken no ketchup for my fries no napkins or cutlery to eat with. I always tip after I received service but in this case I didn’t leave her anything. I will not recommend ordering takeout maybe the dine in service is better.
It was terrible. I had to return the chicken wings. They were burnt to a crisp. The only apology was for me to bring back the wings and they'll redo them. I instead ask to change to ribs and chicken combo. They actually charged me the difference. And it was worse. The ribs were very hard and stiff, and the chicken was burnt just like the ones I returned. The old Shivers was great but this stuff now is yuck! I decided not to make another trip to return the combo. If you know barbecue, don't go there. SONNY'S will be your best place. Shivers get a ??!!! I can't figure why the place is always crowded.

Food was amazing and the server was very busy. She did keep apologizing for my wait to order. The problem is the Hostess was very angry because it was busy. When I walked in, there was a wait. I said oh it's a little busy huh. She became angry and said yeah way to busy. What?!? Then I found out why. She wanted to play on her phone, which she was doing every chance she got. This is why most businesses now have a no cell phone on the floor policy.

This is easily the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Baby rack ribs - 10/10 easily slide off the bone with a rich fulfilling taste. Fries - 10/10 taste however they were served slightly cold. This didn’t take away anything from the taste - still amazing. BBQ baked beans and the cornbread casserole were off the scale, simply never had anything that tasted so rich. Shiver’s BBQ is a must try for those heading south - if you can find something better, I’m not sure I’d believe you.

Their beef ribs art to die for very friendly service and on point, once you try it you won't barbecue at home anymore it tastes like you made it.
We stopped in knowing absolutely nothing about this place. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was going to be good. Will definitely recommend!
