This place really made you feel like you were at home! The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was great, our table had a little bit of everything - hummus, shrimp and grits, grilled ham and cheese with tomato soup, salads, peanut butter pie. It was nothing but SPECTACULAR! I would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxed lunch or dinner that does not disappoint. The other good part is the food is made there and healthy options, so you don't leave feeling bad about what you ate.I'm glad Citrus County has a place like this!

The ambiance and decor were lovely. The service was impeccable and friendly. Everything we ate was amazing. They have a really good variety of dishes. Plenty of vegetarian options and a decent amount of seafood choices as well as meat dishes.

Went to Wallace’s for 30th anniversary after having an amazing first experience for a NYE/birthday dinner a few weeks ago. This time, not so great. We were seated immediately (reservations at 4:00 pm) and given bread plates and silverware. It took awhile for our server to come around. She told us drink specials, no food specials, and what they were out of (no duck, shrimp and grits, the grits part, and one other entree, which 3 plates are 1/4 of their entree menu). We ordered cocktails and the server actually made them at the bar. That’s a bit unusual not to have a bartender make cocktails. She brought them and left, we didn’t ordered for quite awhile after that. Side note, a group was sitting near us and after we got our drinks they asked if someone could wait on them. They were there before us and had not been waited on at all. They were nice about it and the server was apologetic. We expected bread the entire time and it never came out. She came back, took our order and left. We were thinking she’d bring bread now that the order was in. Nope. When she passed back by I asked for bread and she stated they don’t serve bread prior to 5 pm. We were not aware they do not serve bread before 5 pm. It was 4:48 pm at that time. Can you not bring some bread? We smelled it. In 12 minutes people would then get bread, but not us. We did not know this until well after we ordered main course. We did not order starters because we thought we would get bread. We would’ve gotten starters. We were given small plates. Why? Disappointing. We just sat there drinking terrible cocktails our server made us. I don’t think she knows how to make proper cocktails. She did bring it to the table, set it down, then ask if I ordered the margarita with tequila. Very odd. She was acting very strange the longer the service went. When we received our food from another server, we noticed our server being absent from patrons but still just wandering around. She looked vacant and was clumsily walking and swaying around and just slow moving. We witnessed her quickly drink something from a shot glass near the kitchen entrance, whatever that was, it’s very unprofessional and probably the issue. We had to ask multiple times for our bill so we could get out of there. Finally she brought the bill but not the tablet to check us out so we had to wait for that and finally I asked if we take it up front. She brought the tablet 5 minutes later. She definitely acted, well, drunk, and hiccuped while checking us out. Just so rude. We shouldn’t have left a tip, but did, as we always do. All the while we were waiting on her to get herself together, another group was seated where the first group had been forgotten, and that person got up and asked for a server. This server (I will leave her name out of it) did not have it together and it affects the entire vibe of the restaurant, experience, and food. Notice I haven’t even written about the food. It was good, but not like before, and again, this server really took away from the experience. Also during our meal, we heard that duck and something else was available. Another server offered food specials to patrons. I have no idea if they withhold food specials until after 5 pm as well as bread? Just so weird. We will not be going back. Too pricey for an inebriated server and no bread before 5 pm. Noticing some recent reviews, this place needs to regroup and press the reset button.

I am new to the area and was told Wallace’s was a must. We had a reservation yet had to wait. I ordered the duck and was asked how would I like it, coming from NY and having had duck dozens of times this was a first. I said medium feeling that was safe. The waitress said the chef recommends rare. That was not an option for me rare duck not appealing. Well the duck came totally rare. I wasn’t able to cut into the duck it was so tough. The fruit sauce was not a good match. Overall the food was bland and not paired well. We also orders to salmon which was overcooked. Seeing the food left on our plates you would think it would be a red flag and questions would be asked. Not once were we asked if everything was ok. Now dessert under scoops was root beer float. We asked was that a flavor or actual float, we were told a flavor. The waitress returns with a root beer float. Wallaces is a musty smelling over rated restaurant that we were coughing from the plastic plants. In my opinion this is in the top 10 worse restaurants in Florida.

Really enjoyed our lunch. What a great, quality food restaurant. We were over at toyota and stepped across the street. I had yellow currey. Was very mild. The chicken was very tasty, loved the vegetables. My wife had pork and it was extremely excellent. Loved the flavor. The onion soup was far better, my wife returned the soup of the day to get it. The chips were divine, but didn't like the sauce. Nice blue cheese salad. Cheese cake was not great. But pecan pie was nice.
