Extremely happy with our experience at IFG. Miles was our server and he was outstanding! He was knowledgeable, kind, patient, accommodating and more. Service is what really makes an experience for me and Miles hit all my points. Highly recommend this place! 10/10

Go here!!! We found this place and read the reviews and had to try it. There is no mistake, the reviews were spot on. The food was excellent. The fresh fish was no doubt fresh and cooked perfectly. Not overcooked like many restaurants. The onion crust was a perfect option and was well seasoned and delicious. Mashed potatoes was real, the broccoli was sautéed and not overcooked or mushy. The grouper and mahi we had was thick and juicy. Ethan our bartender was perfect. The manager was hands on and enjoyable. All the staff checked on us and we certainly found a wonderful “Hole in the wall”. We want to make another trip over here already and come here again. Piece of advice; make a reservation. We lucked out and found a seat at the bar. The restaurant was packed…make a reservation. Again, this place was awesome.

Excellent food and service. You are going to need to make a reservation. Everything is fresh. Perfect for either a romantic dinner for 2 or for a birthday celebration of 12.

Almost every entree comes with a glaze. If that's your bag you might enjoy it. The shrimp were well cooked and fresh and tasty though slathered in butter. The house speciality - fried spinach- consisted of crispy spinach leaves bathed in grease. The broccoli was cooked just right but, again, was greasy or buttery. It's a bit hard to find - in a little nook. Service was very good. It was noisy.

Always good food and service. Fish preparation was great. I am not a big fan of broccoli, but Island Fish Grill makes it really good. Oh, and the key lime pie was as always, superb.

I've driven by this place hundreds of times and didn't know it was here. A quaint hole in the wall restaurant tucked away in plain sight. Its thee place in Melbourne to get fresh seafood. They are known for their onion crusted fish breading with a bacon citrus glaze, we had it with grouper and it was perfect. The Ahi tuna seared with jerked seasoning and a dill cream sauce was mellow and buttery. Make sure you get the fried spinach as a side, I think its made with beef tallow, which gives it wonderful flavor and it melts in your mouth. We had creme brulee and key lime pie, both amazing, but the key lime pie shined through with a stronger citrus kick to balance out the sweet. I can't remember our server's name, but he was a pro. Cheers!

Hubby had the feature swordfish bowl & loved it ! I had the jumbo scallops and shrimp , was good only could've been hotter .. server was too busy serving in the dining room area as we sat at the bar and that is why our food wasn't as hot as it should've been, Other than the temperature of the food it was really good we will be back.

Overall, we had a great experience. I got boiled no steamed oysters as an appetizer they were very good and then I got the tail with their signature onion glaze. It was just delicious. The fish was crispy and tender and very juicy with them deep fried, spinach, and mashed potatoes, quite good, The, the dessert was a little iffy. I got chocolate mousse that was kind of thick and hard and my wife got crème brûlée, which she didn't care for they did not offer or serve espresso or cappuccino which I was wanting. Did they have any after dinner drinks.

Great menu, specials and service! Always a pleasure having dinner at this restaurant during our visits to Florida. Highly recommend!

Excellent meal but we seemed to be forgotten by the Waiting staff from the moment we sat at our table. Three different waiters, long wait for our drink order and specials garbled and unclear. My glass was empty but no one offered another drink or asked if everything was okay. Two couples were seated after us but both had their drinks before we were even asked. It spoiled the evening.

If you want fish in the Melbourne, Indialantic area, this is the place to get it. Good, personable service, numerous fresh catch, catches of the day with a variety of sauces at a good price. The place is full most nights for a reason. Well recommended. - M. Giancarlo

The food was pretty good, not quite what we expected or wanted. Shrimp salty, scallops overcooked, Brussels sprouts very undercooked. Waiter while friendly, was pre-occupied with other tables. I'm not usually “picky” but feel anyone considering dining here should know what to expect. I would go back again, but I will give numerous other restaurants my business before I do. Overall, fair.

Charming, family-owned seafood restaurant specializing in excellent fresh fish dishes and decadent desserts. Relatively limited menu (1 page), but EVERYTHING well-prepared and delicious. Catch of the day offered three ways - onion-crusted (their specialty), jerk or blackened/cajun. Sides of grits, fresh vegetables were good pairings, good wine selections at reasonable prices. Pleasant, friendly and expert service.
