Receptionist/ waitress (heavy set Burnett), while waiting to be seated, became irritated at checkout counter actually slammed the phone down and rested her forehead in her hand. On our way to be seated she needed to get by and slapped my arm to move me as she passed by. Also very loud and boisterous. Our waitress was kind very busy, when the breakfast food arrived it was cold! I've been going to Blueberry Muffin over 35 years now and am disappointed. I hope they were just having one of those days!!!

GO’N THRU THE MOTIONS…Grits barely warm, hot water for tea not hot, server never asked “how is everything…”, and general tone of place is they are not interested in knowing.Staff not at all warm and friendly, unless, it appears, they already know you,Redeeming qualities: basics of eggs, bacon, and toast decent, fast, and cheap, and is near beach where I often go to watch sunrise and get hungry….Would not go out of my way to come here; If not for location and cheap, wouldn’t come at all.

Everyone seems to love this place. I just have one thing to say: if you order the Eggs Benedict with Crab Cakes, you will NOT get crab cakes. You will get cheap fake seafood made of starch and pulverized white fish shaped and cured to resemble crab. That should be disclosed on the menu. But it's not. When I mentioned it to one of the servers, she said, "Yeah". That was it. So just don't think you're getting the real thing.

A local hotspot.. Like they say, the wait is worth it. Great breakfast options.. Blueberry pancake was amazing. Great service as well. A hole in the wall place but so worth it.

I need to write a review of The Blueberry Muffin. For the past year, I have been going there approximately two to three times a week. Most of the time, I order a hamburger cooked medium rare. However, about six weeks ago, I forgot my wallet and informed the cashier. Unfortunately, this led to an accusation of theft, even though I explained that I lived only half a mile away and would go home to get my wallet. The cashier proceeded to announce to everyone at the counter that I was trying to steal my lunch. On my way home to get my wallet I found a twenty in the console and paid with that. Being accused of theft is a terrible experience, and unfortunately, the story does not end there. Today, when I visited again and asked to speak with the manager, the owner was actually present, sitting a few stools away. The server I asked initially denied the presence of the manager but appeared visibly nervous when I pressed for more information. Later, she called me and acted as if she had no knowledge of the previous incident. Despite her explanation, I will not call her a liar, as her actions spoke for themselves. The specifics of what she said afterward are not important, as they occurred weeks ago. In general, the food at The Blueberry Muffin is delicious, and the servers are friendly. Usually, I let small issues slide, but I will not be returning because the owner has proven to be a liar. Lastly (I promise), the cost of a hamburger and iced tea is $15, and I always leave a $10 tip because the staff has always been kind to me. Unfortunately, they will no longer receive this additional gratuity because I won’t be there. The owner fails to understand the impact of her actions.

Slow service, cold omelette and waitress wasn't real attentive. Muffins looked good but dry and not too sweet. Over all this place disappointed my expectations.. I would go back and try lunch that menu looked pretty good. Maybe that's experience would be better.
