No Hibachi till after 6pm so couldn't get that for lunch :( Lunch menu not available on Sunday :( tempura app was mixed. Shrimp and sweet potato were good and coating was great, the rest was not so good. (Broccoli, zucchini, ?? Item) The Hidden Dragon roll, was okay, but bland. Just meh. Wouldn't order again. The Volcano roll was okay, but the baked 'seafood' topping was odd tasting. Total bill for 2 sodas, an app, and 2 rolls - $45. All and all not a bad place but wouldn't go back.

Went to our go to favorite for lunch. The Bento box's are fantastic, hands down. My better half had her usual salmon. She has never in all the years that we have gone there had a bad box. Me, always the Shrimp Tempura, the same for me...never had a bad one. My suggestion is if you want lunch..before 3 for the specials do not pass them by. Friendly and courteous staff, what more could I say.

Sumo is by far the best sushi in town! Always fresh and the wait staff and sushi chef is absolutely awesome! I've tried all of the sushi spots in town and Sumo is by far the best!

Knocking one star because of the service and because they skimp on the sauces big time. Besides that the food here is GREAT. The tempura is light and crispy, the sushi is fresh. Came at 4 on a Saturday and place was empty. Usually that's a bad thing but not in this case. The rock shrimp is delicious, everything was soooo good. Will definitely be back.

I have eaten a good amount of sushi, so when I say this place was disappointing it isn't just because I don't know what I am talking about. The tuna poke salad was ok. It felt fresh. But I ordered the Three Stooges roll and Out of Control roll. It looked pretty good but the fish felt mushy. Hard to explain. But I literally spit it out and covered it with a napkin. Then I paid my bill and left. I have never given a one star review to a sushi restaurant until now. Sorry. Not sorry. Good luck if you eat here.

I ordered delivery from this place to try for the first time.I was delivered so quickly! Very fresh and it was beautiful to look at too!*I got the beef negimaki. This was also a first for me but I've heard so many great things! Sadly I wasn't a fan, it tasted oddly enough like beef and broccoli but I don't think it was prepared bad, I just don't think I'm a fan. So I am the problem here lol *I also got the Hidden Dragon roll and it was delicious!! Absolutely one of the best rolls I've had in a while! Crunchy panko, delicious roe, fresh and butter eel and salmon. YUM!! I will absolutely be getting this again soon!

Stopped by for a quick lunch. I was warmly greeted and seated. I ordered a drink and a pork katsu bento box. My drink was delivered and refilled without asking and my lunch came in a reasonable amount of time. The salad was good, as was the miso. The appetizer and sushi roll were tasty as was the katsu and rice. Overall it was a great server experience and a good food experience for the price.
This is located in the Publix shopping center on the Northeast corner of the South Patrick Drive/Eau Gallie intersection. Getting to the shopping center is easy from come directions but challenging from others. Once you arrive, there is plenty of parking for all the stores. This restaurant is one of 3 in the shopping center, each catering to different tastes. It is located in the center is near the Pet Supermarket store. Like most stores in the center it has a thin but long area. There are at least 2 u-shaped hibachi tables but I have not seen them used lately. There are several booths and tables and a sushi bar at the back of the restaurant. We entered through the door and were immediately seated at a booth. Their menu was rather extensive with lots of choices. We came at lunch and ordered a salmon bento box and a Chicken bento box. The miso soup and salad came out immediately and were very good. We ordered green tea. The boxes came out within about 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and the food was excellent. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a good Japanese meal in the area.
