We ordered stromboli, calzone and meatball parm for take out and it was fantastic. I give those three items five stars. The following week we decided to go and dine there. That was a mistake. It is more of a take out/delivery place. Two of us ordered eggplant parm which was inedible. The eggplant wasn't fried, just placed on top of the ziti. The baked ziti was good tho. The portions are large.
My family of three typically get a large deluxe and are always happy with the results. You can taste the veggies, the pizza isn't greasy, has a crisp crust and is the perfect size to feed us for two meals. The place is pretty small, so we typically do take out.

Well they had a deal two slices and a soda for $7 I was trying to ask can I get the two slices and forget the soda for 5 and she cuts me off I try to re-explain it and she was rude and cut me off again so I asked just for a slice of cheese didn't have any at the moment so I weighed about 8 minutes they bring it out in a box and it's barely 7 in wide and about 7 in long for $4 first time and last time I tnot going back and it was burnt.the girl working the phone and customers was rude and down. talking the other 2 employees. Making pizzasill give it another try. Maybe she was having a stressful night. The special was 2 slices of cheese AND a fountain drink for $7 ok but you said that your fountain machine was not working so that's why I asked if I could get the 2 slices for $5 . It wouldn't very well be a special without the drink!

Down here for work, and decided to try some pizza places. This is by far the best pizza I have ever had. Cooked beautifully and not overly greasy. And super cheap. $7 for 2 slices and a large drink. Can't beat that at all. Super friendly and patient staff. Most definitely going to come back.
The value is amazing for the quality of food. Service is top notch. Very clean and comfortable seating.

This is our Absolute Favorite pizza delivery spot in all of beachside and we’ve tried them all! Crispy, fresh, and delicious Every single time!!!!Our go to is their pepperoni, or white with meatballs.I can’t rate the atmosphere as I’ve never eaten inside.

I heard a lot about Dano's, so I decided to try it for myself. Before starting, I am from Long Island where there are a lot of good pizzerias. In addition, I'm Italian and I've been making sauce and meatballs for many years. I have been told that my sauce and meatballs are restaurant quality so, it is hard for me to find Italian restaurants that can "wow" me with their sauces, meatballs and entrees. Dano's reminded me of the corner pizzerias that I grew up with. Quaint space with a sit down counter. I was there on a Saturday afternoon around 12:00 and they were pretty busy. The woman behind the counter was extremely friendly and efficient. It was just her and one guy running the whole operation. They had everything under control and it ran like clock work. They claim that their meatball hero is " world famous" so I had to try it for myself. I ordered a slice of pizza and a small meatball parm sub. The pizza was very good. Plenty of cheese, the sauce was not bitter and not over sweet. The dough and crust were good with a good chew and char. Compared to pizza up north, I would rate at a 4. The meatball sub had three decent sized meatballs and they were not over sauced, which is a good thing. There was plenty of cheese. Now keep in mind that they claim their meatball sub is " world famous" and I am also rating them based on not only meatballs I've had in the past, but on my own meatballs. I was definitely impressed. The meatballs were soft but firm, not bready and not over spiced. They are extremely similar to my meatballs and the ones that I grew up with from my mom and grandma. Based on this, I would give this meatball sub a 5 out of 5. I definitely will be back and to get the large meatball sub!!!!
