I have been eating here for years. I truly enjoy this spot. I was a little disappointed when I called ahead to make reservation. I was told they were booked for the whole day. Mind you I am sitting on the beach across the street. I was leaving to go find some lunch and walked past the resturant. Completely empty. I was confused. I walked up and they told me they were not taking on line reservations so they could seat walk ins…I felt like they did not want my business that day. I am hopeful this is a one off situation. I truly enjoy dinning here.
Ellen was the best.My woman and I needed a night out and sat at the bar and enjoyed ourselves a lot.

Near the beach. Love this area! Full of sun and palm trees. Seems newish? Although we have frequenting IRB since ‘09, this is our first time back to the area since ‘20. Good eats! Stopped in with 3 kids for lunch! Sat outside in the patio which was awesome! Staff was friendly/helpful all around great! A wee spendy especially for the oysters. Had the crab/guacamole appetizer. Then moved to the swordfish tacos. Amazing! You’ll love them! Popular with the older generation at lunch. Seems like it could be a semi formal restaurant or a Florida type relaxing spot.Parking: Had parking on the grounds of the building and to the south there is a lotKid-friendliness: Very friendly to the kids. Our kids didn’t like there was no Mac and cheese, but we made it work with a burger- which was cooked really well!

Lobster bisque wasn't hot, sprinkles of lobster. No shrimp tacos served at dinner, so I got a crab cake which used to be the best I'd found. Not this time, not even close. This was my favorite beach place, I'm disappointed.

This gem of a place is our goto when we vacation in Indian Rocks Beach twice yearly. I highly recommend Angels on Horseback and that was the perfect eats watching the Derby in the bar last night. Everything we have ordered there has been fantastic. Our server/bartender, Ellen, is the other reason we keep going back! She always makes us feel like family and service at the bar is always on point.

This eatery is the BEST each time we come here! The lobster bisque is just outstanding! We are on the patio and the environment is great. We were seated right away and staff is very polite. Drinks were great and food is delicious! Higher end food with relaxed environment.

I had the Alaskan halibut special and the flourless chocolate torte. Both were excellent. They were pretty busy, so the service was good, but there were delays in service. However, that was understandable. We were sat very promptly outside but right next to the kitchen, and it did not smell good. A little on the expensive side but for the quality of food it was priced well.

Great from start to finish - the grouper ceviche was fresh and flavorful, short rib was a huge portion and cooked perfectly, very tasty, and we had the catch of the day which was grouper cooked piccata style - just delicious! Pair it with great service (Kristin) and an amazing atmosphere and it’s a winner! Best meal on the beach!

My family dined on their covered patio, which was very nice (the weather helped). That being said, the food was very good too! As a table, we tried the Swordfish, Coconut Shrimp, Caesar Salad, Lobstercargot, and kids pasta. The kids pasta wasn't anything special, but the rest of it was delicious.It is slightly more expensive than the other beach / seafood place on Indian Rocks, but I would definitely recommend and I will be back. I suggest making a reservation ahead of time. They also have complimentary valet, although self parking is very close too.
