The cuban sandwich I had for lunch today tasted fine. I have lived in Florida for 12 years and have had cubans in many eateries, both in Tampa and St Pete. The one I had today was by far the skimpiest(very little meat) cuban sandwich I have ever had by far.

THE BEST PULLED PORK SANDWICH OF MY LIFE!! I would rate 7/5 stats if I could. Seriously go here and get the sandwiches because they are the best. I was on vacation with my friends and we stumbled across Bay 1 and it has forever changed my life. I have not had a better pulled pork sandwich, and i've searched for one that can compare, but no one can sadly. Every time I order a pulled pork sandwich, I am hoping to get that amount of delicious in my mouth as I do with Bay 1, however, I'm ultimately disappointed. My friends got some of the other sandwiches and they LOVED THEM! I stayed true to the pulled pork because I honestly don't think anything would compare but they loved their sandwich just as much. Since discovering Bay 1, for the rest of the trip, it was all we could think about. To this day I still think about it. I'm counting down the days til I can visit the area just so I can have this sandwich. We would go for days in a row and enjoy it every. single. time. I don't think the wait was too bad, but it doesn't matter cause you know you're getting the best sandwich in town. Seriously. I would rather eat a Bay 1 pulled pork sandwich before eating at a nice restaurant. I was never a pulled pork kind of girl, I would eat it but not want it a lot you know. Bay 1 converted me. I literally crave a pulled pork sandwich now like every week. TIP: If you are looking for a little extra sauce, go to the restaurant next door and ask for a little cup of bbq sauce. Pour some of it in the sandwich and then also dip it. Chefs kiss!

The ice cream was so yummy... Natalie let me sample a few flavors before finding the perfect one ... can't wait to go back and try the Cuban sandwich.

We were looking for ice cream and came across this little place. The girl working behind the counter was so sweet and patient with our large group! Ice cream was so yummy! Perfect little outing.

An essential ice cream spot to visit if you're vegan or lactose intolerant. Their dairy free ice cream is insanely good here. I think it's the brand "Yoder's" They have dairy free mocha chip, strawberry, coconut, and chocolate. I've had all of them and they're all amazing. The only catch is there's a dollar up charge, but it's worth it.

Great place for some ice cream and cuban sandwiches. Visited this little place 3 times this trip on vacation. They had a banana pudding ice cream that was the most delightful cold treat for a southern banana pudding lover. Toasted coconut didn't disappoint either

Slowest service ever We were the only ones in the store and it took 25 minutes to make 5 sandwiches with two employees and one of the sandwiches was a peanut butter and jelly

I had the toasted coconut ice cream and my husband the key lime. Both were excellent. Definitely would visit again. Great service.

Nice little ice cream shop on the beach that offers something for everyone with about twenty homemade flavors. My kids love the Cookie Monster which is a cookies and cream and cookie dough in a dyed blue ice cream and I'm a fan of the praline pecan. Ample seating both inside and outside. They offer a couple hot food items such as Cuban sandwiches and empanadas, but I've yet to try them. Prices are fair, sizes are generous. Definitely a pleasent stop everytime we are in the area!
