Consistently outstanding experiences. With an incredible array of choices.. The Jaws roll is my favorite.

Our experience was miserable. We ordered 3 rolls and after 50 minutes didn’t even receive one. After waiting 50 minutes we were finally told our order was behind a large to-go order. Overall experience was horrible. Manager was indifferent. Save yourself the time and go to Old Florida Fish House for excellent fish and sushi.

Service was good, food tasted really bad, we were 6 people and ordered 10 dishes, only one crispy dip was good, everything else was terrible, even the basic California roll was terrible. We went there based on good reviews and were very disappointed.

1 star because the sushi we had was NOT good. I don’t know why they have a high rating.

Automatically added 15 percent gratuity for takeout. No notice before ringing up the order. SKIP THIS PLACE!!

This was by far the best sushi I have had. The staff and owner were very inviting and welcoming. All of our needs were met quickly , the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was beautiful.

10/10 recommend this restaurant! We had Steven as a server; he exceeded all expectations, and then some! I have celiac disease which means I cannot have anything with gluten and have to be super careful with cross contamination. Steven made sure my sushi roll was prepared correctly and took the allergy seriously, which I LOVE! Usually when I go to dinner with family, I don’t order anything due to fear of cross contamination but I’m here to report that I did not have any reactions and I’m so so happy it was taken seriously! Life changing for someone who LOVES to eat out, but usually can’t. Although I live an hour away from Shaka, this will be my go-to restaurant where I can eat at. The rest of my family loved their food as well. They said the baked avocado was TO DIE FOR (Steven’s recommendation) and the sushi was just the best. They have an entire gluten-free menu (attached) and some vegan options as well. Thank you James (owner), Steven, and the rest of Shaka for making this a great experience! :) :)

So delicious! The inlet roll was EVERYTHING. My drinks were spectacular. We actually got it for two nights of our stay because we were so in love. Try all the sauces! Our waiter was spectacular, I didn't catch his name but he was so great.

Great menu with many options we wanted to try- enjoyed amazing miso soup, spicy tuna roll, the Wingnut (seafood udon noodles) and Bodhi (pork belly ramen). Delicious! Attentive and friendly service. We look forward to coming back soon.
