The server was Jake he was excellent. I hate to go .out to eat in Florida. Cause usually the service or the food is bad and everything at your restaurant was good. It was last Wednesday and he was very busy and he still took the time to take care of us.

Catfish & Frog legs were both tasty and fish nice and crunchy. Both meals prepared nicely. Portion size on the frogs smaller than expected. Service was friendly with a smile. The location was busy which is great and a wait line when leaving. It took longer than normal to get extra napkins, drinks, etc. I would recommend this restaurant located in Downtown Inverness. Time in/out longer than most restaurants in the area. Expect to enjoy the environment. Great selection of food and drink types.

There was nothing special to write home about, and I even had the specialty Catfish Sandwich prepared blackened. The bun was too light to stand up to the catfish filet and turned into a soggy mess! The French fries are just Sysco Foods battered fries that any other restaurant serves. Service was very slow for a not so busy Friday afternoon. I'm really disappointed for such a local legend!

One of the best treasures we have found all season! Having never been to Inverness we enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend you try this hidden gem! Real authentic Florida seafood! Catfish was amazing and really large portions! The food was beyond good! Delicious, and great customer service too! I loved the Old Florida deco and style! So sad we’re leaving to head North but will be back again soon!!!
