7/18, Tried eating somewhere else but the line was out the door. Saw that this place had 3.8 of 5 stars and a mostly empty parking lot so we pulled in. I ordered the 2-2-2 (2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 bacon) came with potatoes and i ordered toast. For a restaurant that was empty, food talk a long time to come out. Best tasting thing i ordered was the toast. Better than my wife who ordered the California Omelet, which caused us to run to the drug store for Pepto. Restaurant atmosphere was dirty. Owner could be heard telling loud obnoxious stories (assume to regulars), or yelling at someone in the kitchen. Front of house staff should have been yelled at as they didn't seem to care either, bussing tables, refills on drinks, paying the bill all seemed like difficult concepts. I made a bad choice, hopefully you don't make the same one.

We were so happy to find a Real old fashioned Greek Diner! The food was perfect just like I remembered as a Young lady. The owners George & Sophia were wonderful. Our server was so sweet. We made new friends and ate extremely well!

1st time eating here. Food was a bit salty. Husband loved his meal- chopped steak. I found hair in my food- roasted potatoes. Cook seems to be the owner. Had to wait until he was done "cooking" before my ticket was adjusted. He was very rude & didn't seem to care that his customers were not satisfied with the service/food. He didn't come over to our table to apologize. Waitress was nice, but will not be returning there....

Great food, fair prices, very unique dining experience. Only the best ingredients are used. One of a kind experience which should be enjoyed and appreciated by those who are looking for friend and family dining with no waiting lines.

Riding up A1A and decided to stop for brunch. Hats off to the staff of one waitress and one cook. They made the best of a really bad time and still managed to feed us a good breakfast. Neither one quit on their guest. They got their game on and really impressed everyone that gave them a chance. Again, hats off to this team. We will definitely stop by again when we're in Jax beach area.

We'll run and great food. Servers are friendly and seem to have worked there forever. George, the chef and owner, is a trip. Sometimes he comes out of the kitchen to see the guests. Sometimes he yells at no one in particular in Greek. It's funny but he has interesting stories. The restaurant sells his special Greek dressing and olive oil. Both are fabulous. Food is great and very inexpensive compared with other places.

Great customer service and a very clean establishment, amazing food... Greek to die for AND it’s a diner! Great diner food as well and there are no small plates! Manhattan sandwich and Gyro Platter are awesome. They do take out as well. We also bought a bottle of their homemade Olive

The food was fantastic. Got the French toast in the 2-2-2 and it was so good. The owner walked around and talked to every table and you could tell he cares about his business and making quality food

Had a good breakfast this morning with soft scrambled egg, perfect bacon and a nice pancake. I didn't love the hash browns, sliced(not shredded) and not crispy. Our waitress was delightful and sweet. There were very few tables occupied and I wonder if locals knew the A/C was out? It was obvious when we went in but we stayed anyway since my sister had wanted to try it. The Greek menu items look great. Hope we can make it back when A/C up and running!

The 3rd Street Diner has the best Greek food! The owner and his wife are wonderful people who really care to serve quality food and service to their customers. The value of the food served is incredible for its quality and quantity. I eat here every week. I love the desserts, too. They have a big case of homemade desserts. Yum!!!

So customer service was great. But the food was just okay. Especially considering how much it costs. It was pricey for breakfast, but that's normal for the beaches. I ordered an omelette, grits and baklava. Ths omelette was okay. The toast was horrible. The grits were just plain awful. The baklava was dry and chewy couldn't really bite it or even cut it with a fork or knife. Plus the ceiling on the inside definitely work. The whole outside could use some work as well. Overall I don't think ill be back.

Best menu, best food, best owners. If you are eating anywhere else but 3rd St Diner for breakfast, lunch or dinner you and your wallet But more importantly, YOUR TASTE BUDS ARE REALLY MISSING OUT!

Fries & coleslaw are EXCELLENT! Corned beef in Reuben was flavorless & chewy. Overcooked perhaps? Still, I'd go again just for the fries, and try something else. Service friendly and speedy.
