Server was awesome, food was delicious. Only thing that could have improved was the music but overall a great place

Tim, the manager is the best seafood monger in the business. He knows the business inside and out. He makes his own seasonings and sauces. When it comes to food, Tim is the best! We always buy our seafood from this establishment. You know you are getting the best!
This relaxing seafood place is a don't miss. Their smoked fish dip its delicious and we shared l shared a crab steamer pot that was very filling.

Perfect location for a fresh seafood and beach lover. All food was served fresh and absolutely delicious- but my crab legs were the absolute star of the show!

Smoked fish dip....must have. Really great food in a cozy setting. Service is top notch.
We had family in town from out of state and they wanted seafood close to the beach. This was our first time eating here. Our waiter was very good. He was friendly and quick. The food was really good. I tried Basa fish for the first time and it was petty good. Everyone really liked their food. The bad part. It’s expensive. Our meal for 9 people was $527 including the 20% tip. There were two drunks sitting at the largest table in the place that our family really needed to be sitting out. They were loud and obnoxious. Dropping F bombs really loud. I wish management could have stepped up and told them to leave. Two drunks sat at that this large table almost the whole time we were there.Another table opened up and we had to split up our family and move some to another table. That was okay. We were all really cramped at the one high top table. They kind of ruined the whole meal for us. The waiter kept apologizing. I felt bad for the staff. I think they were trying their best to hurry up the drunks to leave.
A hidden treasure where rue close goes for fresh seafood, fish, mayport Shrimp and crab legs. Also, it is one of the best places for Philly steaks.2nd floor has a bar and Restaurant tables.
Stopped for lunch. We both ordered sheepshead , she had a fried sandwich and fries and I had a blackened wrap and salsa and chips. Fish was good but overall seemed a little pricey!

We decided to dine upstairs. We were promptly greeted and seated. The Gator Tail appetizer was cooked perfectly. Salads were served and soon after the main course. I had shrimp and scallops while my girl had grouper fingers. Everything was delicious. But the best part of the visit was Kala, our server. Polite, funny, and extremely attentive. I like a place where your cup never runs dry. Definitely will make Beachside Seafood a regular stop when visiting Jacksonville.

Nice staff, food was pretty good. I don't really feel like the food prices were justified, but it is a beach town restaurant after all.

Atmosphere was pretty cool. Service was lacking. It may have been short staff. Pretty much felt like stuff was dropped off and walked away. And most of the food just tastes like it was freezer food.
