I really had high hopes for this place. The lumpia was "ok", but the pancit was bland and I'm pretty sure it was cooked in a microwave. I could hear the sound of a microwave dinging over and over again and when I got my food home it was still unusually hot and the chicken was beyond overcooked. The guy that took my order was very nice. But this food was really lacking.

We enjoyed the foods. My 6 years old daughter loved the bulalo. My husband liked the tocilog. Would go back here again.

I've been calling and calling to ask them about their hours and menu, and they never pick up the phone.Clearly poorly managed restaurant.

Nanay is so sweet and she cooked the best sinigang na bangus. The pinakbet and dinuguan taste a home cook food - delicious! For sure, we will come back when we visit Jacksonville again.

Great place with amazing food. It’s a small establishment with just a couple of employees, so give them time as they freshly prepare your food and you’ll be glad you did. So yummy!

Very good food! Lumpia was yum and the pork adobo!

I’m no expert on Filipino food, so I can’t say this is the best you’ll get, but I can say it was delicious, prompt, huge servings and the staff was courteous. The dining area isn’t showy but doesn’t have to be, the food makes up for it. Highly recommend.

We walked in to Fil-Am not knowing if this place was going to be legitimate Filipino food. It's hard to find "like home" cooking restaurants with all of these chains and modern places opening up but this place speaks volume. The place is smaller with not much going on but when the food gets to your table, that's all you need to worry about. Food was great! If you love Filipino food and want a quick bite or a small sit down, this is it! We ordered the Sisig, Lechon Kawali, sinigang and palabok. Everything tasted great! We will be back!

In celebration of PH re-opening today, I stopped in to have some Chicken Adobo and Pork Lumpia. It was excellent as expected!! Great food, great service. See you over there! ??❤

I'm not sure how this place received an avg 4 star rating. The gentleman at the counter was friendly but I think he was the only one there. The food wasn't fresh. The chicken was hard and dry in both the pansit and adobo. The adobo sauce was more like a gravy. The rice was hard and dry. The pork lumpia was ok. The only thing good was the beef lumpia. The food was ready in 20 min. It just seems like the person working the counter was also working the kitchen. I ordered take out, spent $40, and left a 20% tip on food I couldn't eat. It's as if it was pre made and reheated. Better luck to the next customer.

The food is good!!! But, the portions are to small and overpriced..Cabalin philipino food has far beter portions and prices..and faster beter service..

My friend and I were seeking out for some authentic palabok today! Looking around the web, Fil-Am Eatery and BBQ had pretty good reviews, so we decided to check this place out. Going inside, the Aroma of lumpias filled the air which smelt amazing! But, just finishing lunch not too long ago, we settled on ordering the palabok. Moving on with my review, our order of the palabok today was kind of a let down. For starters, I guess we didn't read the instructions clearly, but there was no shrimp nor any ground pork on the noodle dish we ordered. On the contrary, it was served with just sliced boiled Eggs, chicharron, and scallions. We then thought, that maybe the sauce would have more flavor than the toppings above, and contain other elements inside, but again we were unfortunately wrong. The sauce had a very underwhelming shrimp flavor, and the dish lacked anything inside except for the coated noodles. Overall, if we decide to visit Fil-Am Eatery and BBQ again, we might need to settle down on one of the more popular food items from the menu. But unfortunately, we were highly dissapointed with our first experience today as the palabok we tasted was just fair.

if only i can rate it with - minus star ... we ordered food for take out and the sisig is disgusting.. they didnt even clean up the pork! it has alot of pigs hair. although it tasty but cooking it with porks hair...thats really nasty and lazy! and batchoy is spicy! i know they're closing when we order the food but still it not nice to cook them so lousy! they dont care about customers loyalty... "suki" .. this business is all about money... a rip off..

Plastic containers, plastic dishware, over priced items and dry food. The inside is hot and stuffy. Not worth it. The lumpia is over cooked. The beef and chicken are dry. Not worth the money unfortunately.
