This place is amazing! Owner and staff really make you feel at home and the food is phenomenal. Best pizza in Jax, FL, hands down. I have been coming to Nini’s for 4 years and honestly can’t find a better slice anywhere else. Try the T-Rock’s Barbecue Chicken Pizza....it’ll change your life. Then again....a plain cheese is made exactly how it’s supposed to be. A Local Favorite!

This was my first time here, came in and the drink machine wasn’t working, got a house salad and it was a bunch of veggies not even chopped up, took forever to get our food because there was only one person in the back. Was very disappointed and will not return.

This used to be our absolute fave Italian spot. Super fresh food, tiny clean place and staff that remembers you. That was pre-covid. Sadly they are sub-standard now. We have tried to support this small business and tonight was the 3rd strike. The first 2 strikes were not having a couple different things we tried to order that were ON the menu, 2nd strike was the ravioli I bit into was cold, and tonight our dishes are over the top salty and the "garlic knots" were more like a hot dog bun, not to mention the few tables that are in there were filthy, everything on them was dirty, and the window looked like someone sneezed on it. I have been here so many times through the years and I'm sad to write this, but that was our last trip to Nini's. Sorry guys.....just not cutting it anymore :(

Definitely will not be back. Negative reviews are not my thing, because everybody has a bad day. But WOW. Came in on a Friday night at 6pm. Nobody was in the restaurant. Sat down and ordered a kids pizza and kids pasta immediately. About 5 minutes later, we ordered an entree shrimp piccata with salad. 25 minutes passed before we received the salad. About 5 minutes after, we received the garlic knots. 51 minutes after our kids' order, we requested it to go. They were kind enough to comp our beers (2). They boxed our food up to go and we left. It is important to note that there were exactly 3 to-go orders the hour that we were there, so it wasn't because they were busy, but it was obvious the cook was either not present or intoxicated and unable to perform his/her job. Got home and opened up our "shrimp piccata" and it was a bowl of butter with a few overcooked shrimps and last night's linguini. It was promptly tossed on the trash. If I didn't have to put my young kids back In the car I would go back for a full refund. Horrible.

Pizza is very good and the cheese steaks were delicious. I recommend this restaurant if you like Italian cuisine.

Food was amazing. Owner is an incredibly sweet man. My fiancé and I had a calzone each and will have left overs for at least another meal. Definitely stop here for some great food!

Ok I was super impressed. I happened upon this local gem late Saturday afternoon and my friend were starving. We were met by the owner and given 5 star service and attention. My friend got a kids cheese pizza which was delicious and pretty large - we both could have been happy splitting it in retrospect. I ordered a Stromboli which was also very delicious! Talking with the owner was the best part because he was hilarious and just very personable. I hope to return here again soon!

I really wanted to like it because it's a local spot but the food was pretty bad. The pizza was soggy in the center and the crust seemed like frozen pizza. This pizza had ricotta and there was so much of it it was actually really unappealing. It was kinda difficult to identify exactly what made it so bad that I didn't even want any leftovers, which literally never happens with pizza- even pretty bad pizza is good enough pizza. It's a hard pass.
