“What an awesome place!!! Had lunch with my wife here & didn't know quite what to expect & it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic & the service was equally great!!! Our server was on point & very pleasant... thanks for making the experience that much better!!! We live in Ft Lauderdale & we'll definitely be back!!!“
“Delightful place with good vibes and great food! We came here on vacation with two kids and fully felt the place is kid friendly. Peanut butter lattes and Nutella lattes both solid- no bitterness with the beans, beans seem to be in the appropriate timeframe since roasting. Shrimp, eggs, and grits and French toast and sausage were all delicious- and Andy provided an excellent service experience. We will be back next time we come to town!Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and high chairs readily available.“
“Fantastic spot!! The coffee was 10/10. Leagues better than anywhere else I've been. The breakfast (breakfast sandwich) was great and was just what was needed to start the day. The atmosphere in an old building was laid-back but very welcoming. But most of all the people, both visitors and those behind the counter, were genuinely kind and very humble. This is the best spot for coffee in Jacksonville!“
“I can’t believe I have not made it here sooner. This food is UNBELIEVABLE!! I will definitely be back. You order at the counter and seat yourself. The place is a cool beachy vibe. The staff are so friendly. Definitely put this on your list to go!“
“Nice brewery in Jax beach, right on the main drag. We came on a slow winter day. They had nearly 20 beers on tap- which is pretty amazing for a small brewery. They also had several seltzer options, including one where you pick the flavor. There is a ping-pong table, foosball, e-darts, Golden Tee, and two pinball machines to keep you entertained. The beers were good- my favorite was the Count Sakula stout.Definitely worth a visit when in Jax Beach.“
“Huge selection of craft beer and plenty of seating. We tried a flight of the Coffee Time, Nut Sack, Sour Apricot Peach, and Tangerine Wheat and were not disappointed! We would come back for the beer. The environment is very welcoming, they have a selection of board games you can play at your table. We would love to see more food options, very generic and not creative.“
“Such a lovely and very kid friendly spot. Posting a pic of the regular sizer root beer flavor. Staff is very pleasant. Would recommend a stop in.Kid-friendliness: Video games, play area, chalkboard wall. A kids' dream area with dessert.“
“We have been coming to Metro Diner regularly since we have been living in Jacksonville. Its always a great place for us to eat our breakfast. Today I had the western omelet. My wife had the Bissell breakfast. We both had English muffins, hashbrowns and coffee. As usual the food was really good, the coffee was delicious and the service is always great. We love the indoor and outdoor dining options. Our waitress today was Christina. By the way...our hashbrowns are not burnt. We always request extra crispy hashbrowns. They are delicious. We appreciated the quick and accurate service. Keep up the great work Metro.“
“This little place is a hidden gem and I LOVE IT! I always look forward to coming here when we are on vacation in JAX. the cookies are addicting and you cannot have just one! Try all the flavors- so good! Only wish I would have gone back to try the homemade ice cream!!! Highly recommend!“
“I went here for the first time today just a few minutes ago and Desiree (apologies if i misspelled her name!) helped us out so much! she was so kind and sweet about accommodating a dairy allergy and gave us samples to try that were perfect for us! Overall she was just so kind and understanding and it was honestly one of the best experiences i've had in customer service in a very long time. Thank you so much Desiree!! we appreciate you.-Heather & SaraDietary restrictions: Very accommodating and had DELICIOUS options for dairy free which is something very new to us!“
“The place just has a magical ambiance of fun. They have multiple area to sit, but we sat on the outdoor deck as the weather perfect. Im getting ahead of myself because the first encounter I had was with the handsome and polite valet attendants who were just so pleasant! Then our server was so fun and pleasant. We placed an order for guacamole and chips to get started. It was a was a work day for me, so despite the fact they have tremendous bar and tequila selection, I opted for unsweetened iced tea. I chose the $10 taco, which is really $5.99 with delicious filet and carnitas. It was all I needed! They have tons of tacos to choose from plus street corn, entrees, and such. All was delicious!“
“Chose another broken egg for a first date, and was not disappointed at all. The inside dining room was pretty crowded, which is where they seated us. But they didn't hesitate for a second when we asked if we could sit outside. This may be my new favorite breakfast spot at the beach!!!“
“I always make it a point to stop in and get something here. The Crew that works here are genuinely nice and very patient with me. I'm very indecisive. They let me try which flavors I'd like and even make better suggestions then I had. One time I ordered the wrong kind of ice I wanted and when I realized what I did she put it in a different cup and blended it a little more. Was so sweet about it. The people who work here definitely love their job and you see the passion in their work. It's so delicious I've never had anything here that I didn't like. My favorite is the peach blended“
“This review is long over due, one of my favorite coffee shops by far! Their coffee is great, you can tell they prioritize quality. The atmosphere is awesome. Always clean and I love all the natural light the windows provide. Plenty of seating if you like to work or study from coffee shops. The best part is all the baristas (Travis, Matt, Adam, Jake, Ashton, Chandler, and everyone else). They are always so friendly and kind here. You guys are the best, keep crushing it!“
“Great place to grab a nice lunch. The sandwiches are all fresh and so are the pretzels. They have plenty of choices to suit any taste. I didn't have room for a soup however my friend said hers was delicious. The waitress was attentive and had perfect timing without being overly present. We had the carrot cake for dessert and it was a huge slice!! It too was very fresh.“
“I lived in the area for three years a while back. Ate here at least twice a week for the sriracha shrimp tacos. They’re the best taco I’ve ever had. Recently went to the St Augustine Beach location and they had buffalo shrimp tacos instead. Was hoping it was just a location thing, but just perused the menu on here and am sad to see it’s the same here. I was planning on bringing my son and his girlfriend to eat lunch here tomorrow. Not so sure now. I know there was a shortage of sriracha, but I’ve seen lots in the stores lately. Bring back the sriracha shrimp taco please!! Buffalo shrimp is nowhere near as delicious. If I bring my own sriracha can y’all make them like y’all used to just for me?“
“Tim, the manager is the best seafood monger in the business. He knows the business inside and out. He makes his own seasonings and sauces. When it comes to food, Tim is the best! We always buy our seafood from this establishment. You know you are getting the best!“
“It’s a quaint little spot with a few spots for seating either indoor or outdoor. They were very nice and quick to prepare the food. I got the steak chimichurri bowl without the roasted potatoes. And let me tell you this bowl had potential, but the dressing it comes with- lemon tahini was not it. I presumed it’d be creamy like tahini and a little zesty due to the lemon but oh my it just tasted like sour lemon juice. The chimichurri was good, and all the spots that didn’t have the dressing was good, but my personal recommendation is to get the sauce on the side to try it first or a different one if you are not into the idea of a tart salad.“
“Refinery continues to amaze me. Ive been here 4+ times and found new things on the menu each time. The appetizer and entres have never ceased to amaze me. The dinning room is perfect for dinner, with a post dinner drink in the ocean breeze downstairs. This place doesn't miss.“
“I love GBB. Their food is amazing especially their buffalo chicken wrap and funnel cake fries. The only thing I have been disappointed by are the new fried mozzarella cheese sticks. Our waiter told us the Mozzarella Moons were too expensive so the restaurant decided to go with regular mozzarella sticks. The only problem is the mozzarella sticks are almost hollow in the middle, very little cheese. Hopefully it was just a fluke with our order but the Mozzarella Moons were the cheesiest best tasting fried mozzarella around.“
“We cannot say enough wonderful things about this place!!! We rented their semi private room for a party and everything exceeded our expectations!! The atmosphere was wonderful! The staff and food were all wonderful! They went above and beyond in every aspect to make our event amazing! Everyone loved it and had a wonderful time!“
“What a wonderful place! This is our 2nd time coming here and was again amazing!Karina S. was a most helpful and accommodating waitress, she went above and beyond in making our experience enjoyable❣️The fried fish tacos were light and crunchy, and chicken mole tamales were warm savory. A wonderful place through and through. We Will definitely be coming back soon.“
“Isabel was a bundle of joy! She made our experience amazing with great service and a friendly attitude. A lot of times I get coffee not for the coffee but for when I’m having a bad day. When I got to the window with a frown on my face, Isabel turned that frown upside down! We need more hardworking dedicated friendly individuals like Isabel in our service industry. Great work Isabel, I apologize if I misspelled your name.“
“The food and drinks were delicious and, while sitting at the bar, I could barely hear the kitchen staff SINGING so happily and it just made it that much more amazing!!! I ordered one shrimp chimichanga but wished I would have gotten two - one for later because it was so tasty!“
“A hidden gem of a location on the water with outdoor seating before the bridge (coming from Jacksonville Beach) toward San Juan Blvd. We easily got a table on a usually busy Wednesday evening versus the much "nicer" spot across the bridge that had no space. The prices for the quality of the food was amazing and the seafood was fresh along with everything being cooked to perfection. The Buffalo shrimp were reccomemneded by our server Alisha who was very sweet and made sure we were well taken care of. I really enjoyed the views here and it felt luxurious as a date night option.Vegetarian options: The hummus was very, very good and they have fresh vegetables as sides. The broccoli was cooked perfectly which is hard to pull off in a restaurant setting. They had a cottage cheese salad that sounded really yummy when we went.Dietary restrictions: If you're allergic to seafood this place is most likely a no go.Parking: It's open parking right in front and across the "road" which is a gravel road along the bridge because this place is next to the bridge leading towards San Juan Blvd from Jacksonville Beach.Kid-friendliness: There was a large outdoor section that seemed like a good place for large groups/families.“
“I keep going back for the best plant-based breakfast sandwich I have ever had it is the maple syrup breakfast sandwich and it is so good with Yummy Date butterVegetarian options: The breakfast sandwich is full of protein and taste like it’s a buttery biscuit with real sausageBig secret, it’s not!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and delicious“
