We went last Wednesday for dinner and it was surprisingly busy for the middle of the week. We got the whole chicken, half golden and half spicy. Both were really good. We also got the spicy galbi wings and fries. Would likely opt for the cheesling fries and a different flavor of wings next time.

We have gone to other bb.q locations around Georgia and Florida so we were ready to order fairly quickly. We ordered 3 baskets of chicken and a terra but so far this location has the worst chicken and the worst service of all the locations so I’ll stick to Duluth.Chicken was not the same as the other locations and the breading was lacking that classic Korean fc crunch. Our server never came to check on us so we had no water and no beer by the time the food came by way of a food runner. We ordered the mala wings and he didn’t think to bring us water? He did show up to bring the check and my husband tried ordering a beer but the server said oh you want a beer? We are closing but I could give you a closed beer to go..?We said okay forget the beer can we get water and he’s staring at us like we just ordered another basket of chicken while they were closing. (Kitchen closes earlier than restaurant does so we did arrive an hour before kitchen closed) he took our money and was walking away so I again remind him of the water and he’s like oh you want water? We are closing so do you want water to go or are you good? We took the water to go and we were like dang I didn’t know water would stop them from closing seeing as how three other tables were still eating.He then went to the table next to us and the people eating asked for a soda but that they would let the server know when he needed it. Our same server who was basically pushing us out the door without trying to even give us water after not even checking on us the entire time we ate just responded to him, yeah sure boss no problem.The other table had a group of girls who had paid their check while we ate (tables are so close you hear conversations without even wanting to so that’s how we heard them paying while we were eating.) and they were not harrased to leave like we were. We actually ate, paid and got pushed out before they left. They did have a different server so I guess it was just ours.So our server made us feel at all times as inconveniences and also acted as if we don’t know Korean food or drinks even after I ordered in Korean without stuttering.My husband is white and the other tables had fellow poc but I guess our whole table was just dumb and not worth of attention bc surely we can’t possibly know? Not sure but assumption is all I have to go by for this bad service and bad food.Even if there are issues, the lowest tip available is 18% so this kid got paid to not attend to us and push us out.

Got the galbi wings and maybe I'm just not a galbi fan (first time trying this flavor) but the flavor was off-putting and I can't describe why.My sister had the same thoughts, and her boyfriend. The fries tasted almost like shrimp tempura (I like shrimp tempura but that's just odd) but at least the onion rings were good. Just didn't expect the portions of the sides to be huge (for the price that's a good thing, just didn't know).So again, I'll need to try their wings plain before I call it quits.

This was just such a disappointing experience. Everything we ordered tasted off. I got the Galbi sauce on my chicken. I can’t explain it, it was just an extremely odd and disgusting flavor. The whole place smells like rotting vegetables. For the price I wish I could’ve enjoyed any part of this, but I didn’t. I will say the service was good as most the reviews say it’s not.

We ordered some chicken to go ! I'm a lady i eat so politely. Had to bring it home to enjoy lol. As expected of a proper korean fried chicken joint, they were packed up in a well ventilated paper box. No nonsense with any styrofoam or closed off container. The right way to do things. Plus we only had to drive about 10 minutes home so things were still crispy crunchy ! Service is good ya know for just ordering to go at the counter. No complaints there. They were nice ! We knew exactly what we wanted to order. A small little place most likely won't dine in maybe with friends to share a drink. FLAVORS !!!!! Exactly what i was dreaming of. I'm a bigggg huge fan of korean cheesiness. The cheesling was absolutely loaded up with that lovely powder. Savory with that iconic bit of sweetness. This thing was truly coated. Spicy galbi wasn't my choice it was the flavor my girlfriend chose heehee. Very meaty smoky like galbi. Savory sweet and spicy ! Very saucy. The garnishing of green onion and sesame was quite enjoyable ! I'm over the moon to finally have a korean fried chicken place in jax especially such a great chain. We need more to break up the taco onslaught. Lol. So i'm glad it was bb q to begin paving the way. I have a few more chains i would love to see... xoxo. Cant wait to order some more !
Ambience is okay, service is okay.. but the FOOD is INCREDIBLE!! The wings are so tender and big and juicy!! They are perfectly crispy and stayed so fresh and crunchy on the 15 minute drive home!! I absolutely love the sauce for the spicy galbi; it is sweet and savory and spicy and oh so satisfying; exactly what I wanted! My girlfriend got the cheesling and they were also great; cheesy with a complex savory flavor! They do not skimp on sauce and dry rub here!! I know some people are saying that the service is slow, but in my opinion the food is well worth the wait, and wings do usually take a little bit so I can't complain! Definitely will be back to try more flavors as well as ordering the same again!!

Since this girl loves all things Korean and especially Korean fried chicken I had to try this place out. It was a little confusing when I walked in no one really said any to me and then I sat at the counter waiting for someone to ask me something no one did. I eventually got a server and explained it was first time. They placed my order to go even though I sitting at the counter and I had to ask for a plate and cup for my soji. No I now I think this is gonna be a bad review but it's not I just have pros and cons. They are new and I wish service was better but they seemed overwhelmed with the amount of orders. You cannot mix and match sauces ,which kinda sucks cause it's hard to know which one you like. If it's my first time eating Korean fried chicken you're not going to know what half the sauces are. I went with the gangjeong. The chicken was spot on I have no complaints better then bonchon. It's the crispiness that's great.I got a side of dumplings only to realize they came with no sauce just soy sauce. Now who comes to eat dumplings without some chili oil or dipping sauce. It may just be me but if I don't dip then you got to acquit....lol. if you get that reference You are well seasoned like me. So I waited till I got home to enjoy those cause this girl can dip it up. They were very good. Overall good food, may be pricey for some. my . I got 8 wings soju and dumplings and with tip. My order was $47. Would I come back hell yeah, can they improve hell yeah, but was it good chicken hell yeah. So don't take my opinion get ur but off the couch, bed or wherever its sitting and go get you some and tell me what you think. 훌륭한 식사

We were served by the young lady that is in one review here , she was so nice to us and asked us if we have questions and took the time to explain the flavors we were looking at ..We can see that she is busy but still asking the others tables if they were okay and could help them with anything . So I don’t really think she is trying to ignore anyone just know that the servers might be splitting the tables and yours might not be her table yet you can ask her for help if your server is not around. This servers are young people trying to do their best calm down and give the store one more chance!Btw we finally tried the fried rice today and it was so good

You cannot advertise a restaurant as having “Koreas Finest Fried Chicken” yet, the primary item on the menu (FRIED CHICKEN) is not even Korean styled nor was it good. The chicken tasted like it was fried in old/dirty oil. We couldn’t even eat it.The are no descriptions on the other menu items (listed in Korean) therefore we couldnt determine what we should order. The waitress didn’t take the time to explain the menu to us so we just ordered The cheese fries and dumplings….which were decent however we won’t be back.Recommend going to BonChon or Domu.

The people who are giving four and five star reviews just don’t know what good Korean food is!Believe all the one star reviews, I’m Korean and like the rest of my Koreans out there this place is not even close to authentic Korean double fried chicken!Of course, in the beginning, there were good reviews lines out the door because this is a franchise the food is supposed to be good but not at this location!Like everyone says the service is beyond awful that young lady In one of the review pictures is the same one that totally lost our order just like another reviewer I ordered over the phone. My son went to go pick up our wings after already waiting 40 min and They just lost our order waited another 40min we got home and they gave us the wrong order!!!They literally hired these people off the streets with no experience and no training no guidance that tells you something about the owner/managemet!I guarantee you by the end of this year this place will be closed down if they keep this nonsense up!I moved down here from up north two years ago, and of course get super excited for anything that’s claiming to be Korean food here, nothing authentic here my never ending search for quality Korean food continues. It’s not in Jacksonville folks!???
