No signs, nothing on Google or Facebook. The restaurant is empty so they are obviously closed. Wanted to try it but guess I won't. Not a good way to make a first impression if they are only temporarily closed with plans to reopen.

You call yourself Berndt Endz. Yet no burnt ends. Half the menu was not available. 2 fountain drinks options only. The rest was out of service. Order the special. 4 meat platter. Sides and toast. $40 before tip. Like other reviews no flavor. No smoke flavor. Brisket was tough and no smoke ring. Over cooked. Pulled pork was just shredded pork. No flavor. Ribs. Chewy slight smoke ring. Side were all terrible. Everything was also cold. People giving this place 4-5 stars obviously have never had good BBQ. Very disappointed. Will not recommend and will not return.Wow, your response is very professional. Yes, we ate the food. I paid over $50. Only thing we finished was the sausage. I’m not in the habit of just throwing away money. You also have other reviews saying what I said. No worries. Won’t be back. Learn to BBQ

We love this BBQ! We went back for some pork BBQ sandwiches yesterday, and it was a good as ever. I had a side of slaw, to which I add some of their homemade mustard bbq sauce and then put the slaw on my sandwich. I drench it with their homemade Carolina BBQ sauce. I love that their sandwiches are served in Texas toast, I like my toast dry but with all that sauce and slaw, the toast doesn’t stay dry for long. My husband got the pork sandwich with garlic toast and baked beans. This pork is smoked to a T - it is succulent and lean, you can’t get any better. The owner/grillmaster and his better half are right there to answer any questions or just mess with you. We highly recommend.

Ordered takeout late this afternoon, asking for pulled pork, which typically they pull the pork from the bone & chop it. I asked for a lb. pulled off the bone & shredded. The owner agreed & I picked it up in 45 minutes, along with a pint of collards & pint of slaw. When I got home, placed the pork on a fresh bun with their sweet red sauce, topped with their slaw! What a delicious sandwich & great collards! Special orders don't upset them!!!

Saw the name of this restaurant from the road and got excited for a place specializing in Burnt Ends. Reviews seemed positive so we went in.Turns out they don't even offer burnt ends...We ended up trying brisket and some sides instead. The woman serving us was friendly but she said she didn't know how to cut brisket and we would have to wait for her partner to do it. We didn't mind but it actually took almost ten minutes for him to come up. That was the last time we ever saw them again as they disappeared into the back and never came back out. One of our sides was wrong but we never got the chance to ask about it. There was even a customer who came in waited, and eventually left. Maybe they were short staffed, but they are probably losing business if they can't keep someone upfront. The food was incredibly disappointing. The brisket was very dry. I asked for fatty brisket yet it was still dry. You shouldn't need to dump table sauces all over good BBQ... The Mac was bad. Collard Greens and Slaw was bland. I'm awfully surprised by some of the positive reviews but I guess people have different expectations for BBQ. IMO there are several chains around here that do it much better than this local business.Won't be coming back to this one.

For lunch, I had the large barbecue ribs platter and my wife ordered the regular turkey platter. Pretty good barbecue, but the ribs I had was on a smaller size compared to other pictures I saw here. Just a little bigger than the baby backs. Two pieces underneath were even smaller. Walked out still hungry. Service was awesome though.

I came here today to try a turkey platter. The Mac and cheese was horrible the worst that I have ever had. I got a baked sweet potato and my yam was still kind of hard. It was not soft like it was suppose to be. The Turkey was tender and not that bad. I wouldn’t go back here. I spent $20 because I got extra Mac and cheese. I felt like I wasted money. Bono’s was way better I will stick with them. Service was good. Plenty of parking.

Brisket was juicy, flavorful with a light smoke. only complaint is the lunch size portion on the sandwich left me wanting more. You're probably better off ordering meat by the half pound here which is what I'll do next time.

Was in Jacksonville for a work training and Burnt Ends was right around the corner from the class. I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the most moist Turkey sandwich I have ever had with green beans that I am going to be craving until I'm in the area again. Absolutely amazing. Price and service were great as well.
