Bowl of Pho... my Husband and I favorite Pho place in Jacksonville. I think we are here once or twice a month and more if its the colder months lol. This place is located in Southside. it's a very decent size for a restaurant and they can accommodate a family size party. They have lots of choices here, from appetizers, drinks, pho, soups and noodles. Sadly, I will not be able to further tell you the other foods they order because we have our favorite foods here and we stick to it religiously but once in a while I will try something different. Our usual order is the grilled shrimp roll with the peanut sauce, Vietnamese egg spring roll for our appetizers as for our main meal, my husband loves their pho and I will usually go for either, chicken or shrimp fired rice, bowl of wonton soup, their gigantic seafood crispy noodle. Those are my choices LOL. Their Fried rice here is hands down one of the best fried rice in town! i love it! their wonton soup is really good too, it is served with 6 wontons and egg noodles and it is just so tasty and perfect on a cold weather. We tried other Pho places and we just kept going back to Bowl of Pho. Service is quick and the staff is great. I only had one bad experience with them and that was when I got the rainbow dessert, it didn't taste as fresh as when I had them before and I returned it and our server took it out from our bill, but other than that every time we go here we always have a great time.

I am disappointed in the takeout order for a special bowl of pho for take out. I was told that the order would take 5-10 minutes to be ready for pick up, so I came to pick it up in 5 minutes. The soup and meat were ice cold, so I think all the take out orders are pre-made and kept refrigerated. I had to reheat everything so the noodles got overcooked. I'm not sure if the quality of food would be better for dine-in, but I will not be ordering take out from here again. Do not recommend for takeout.Update: Restaurant replied that the takeout orders are not premade and refrigerated, but I got lukewarm soup with cold noodles, vegetables, and meat. I attributed the low quality to the food being premade, but if it's not premade then dine-in quality must be equally horrible. Do not recommend at all.

I always get pho at this place, which is great, however, if you order That Tea with "less ice", you will get HALF a cup, but still full price. This is the only place that does that and while it's true, they may have saved 30 cents, but they lost a regular customer.

The restaurant is absoltely filfthy! If they don't see the value is the clanliness of their store front, dining and area restrooms; I don't think you can eat the food! I am sick just thinking about

The quality of food is good no doubt. I had a chicken salad and it was really good. So was the bubble tea. But the service can improve, specifically the servers who don’t pay attention at guest and I had to waive and wait for many minutes before I was attended to for asking another dish, asking checks or actually even paying tips.
Awesome and affordable comfort food. Clean ambience and super fast and friendly service. Highly

I was very disappointed. I felt unwelcomed in this restaurant. I was excited to try Vietnamese food for the first time. Id seen Pho soup trending on social media. I choose this location because the good reviews and worked in the area some years ago. I said dine in but they seem reluctant to seat me. Once seated with no greeting, i sat for about 10 plus mins without even an offer of water. Waiters clearly available to at least offer me water right? Now starting to think, hope its not because im African American. As i got up to politely leave, a waiter quickly took the menu off my table without a word. I left disappointed but theres more than one restaurant to patronize right so I went to Pho today at Deer Lake and had an enjoyable experience. The service ,food and the staff was great. Going back for sure!! Found my new place. Its OK, sometimes gotta just keep it moving. Be blessed everyone ?

This is not only the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Jacksonville, they have very reasonable prices. The people who work here are all very nice as well. They also have a large menu selection of a variety of dishes from Pho to broken rice dishes. You definitely won't leave this place hungry either.
