I had high hopes but am ultimately disappointed. The oxtail was plain, so was the beef patty and coco bread. After putting the oxtails in the fridge for a day (thinking maybe things would get better), it smelt off, so I assume that everything was made over 5 days ago. I have never experienced oxtails smelling like this within a day. That just goes to show that it was not fresh to begin with.

My first time eating here since I been in Jacksonville the lady gave me the wrong plate i came back they cross contaminated by taking my old plate. I caught bad vibes from the place will never go again the cook was very rude & disrespectful when I ask about remaking my food this is not a place to go too spices is way better off the food or the Jamaican spot on main

Food here is phenomenal! My wife and I purchased the Jerk chicken and oxtails it was so delicious. Jerk Chicken was flavorful and spicy and rice and peas melts right in your mouth. The punch is addictive. Enviorment is welcoming.We order twice in one day. Great food!?

This is the worst Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to in my 30 years in Florida. The jerk chicken burnt and stale. I asked for a little gravy on my rice when I opened the box it’s like a soup, the rice swimming in gravy. Horrible. I waste my money I have to end throw away the food. I couldn’t eat it.

This was my first time eating here……NEVER AGAIN! I had the most horrible tasting brown stewed chunks that I have EVER had. I ordered a jumbo dinner with 2 sides. THE WORST. The chunks tasted as if they were soaked in pure vinegar. The gravy or whatever tasted like it had a slimy/mushy texture pon di rice. The rice in the rice and KIDNEY BEANS was parboiled….uggghhhh!!! Plaintains were nasty yf, coco bread nah even coco bread!! I was told I could have mac n cheese as a side for an additional $3…..it was a very small amount, not tasty at all, but the most bearable and the only thing I was able to FINISH . I am very sorry I wasted almost $26 on this meal. The food tastes old and horrible which was not expected being that it was before 1pm…..LUNCHTIME! The pics that I shared is what I COULD NOT AND WOULD NOT EAT!!! Money WASTED instead od waisted as I hoped.??

My niece brought home red pea soup. It is the worst soup I have ever tasted. It's old. I can tell it had been frozen But not before it spoiled.. a fe paes with mealy potatoes, bell pepper and a chunk of carrot. It even smells off. I am tempted to call the health department. She called and was offered nither explanation, another item nor her money back. I drained it to show the vegetablesMy chickens chickens will only eat these vegetables cooked. They wouldn't eat them. I didn't tell her where to go. She went close to home. First visit and Never again.Too bad. Photos wouldn't upload.

I really don't like giving bad reviews but..... I arrived here at 3:59 and my food wasn't ready until 4:49. I asked what was the hold up. I was told the cook had to make the rice. They could atleast offer you a free drink or dessert.

Food was good but not great. Got the curry chicken and brown stew chicken. They both lacked that vibrant Jamaican/Caribbean flavor one expects - a bit bland. Had to really yell over the music to place my order and the young man taking my order was indifferent, even after it was evident I could not hear him well. Overall, not a bad experience but I was not impressed.
