This place is awesome wonderful food. I can tell you it's always packed but it's well worth the wait I recommend this place to lots of ppl. You can also call in your order.Vegetarian options: Have food for those who don't eat meat. I don't know how it tastes cause I'm a meat eater I'm from the country but for you non-meat eaters they have something for you also

Got food poisoning from the egg rolls and when me and my husband went to pick it up the parking lot was blocked by cops and we had to park in the run down gas station next door and had my husband walk over and pick it up. Turns out the next door walgreens had a shooting that's why the over powering police activity. Not a safe place anymore and not good food quality anymore. Used to be a nice splurge for our family my moms been going herself for 30years back when they had diffrent locations.

Ordered inside.. Bourbon chicken half fried rice/ half house lo mein. I wanted chow mein but the cashier said no it’ll be better with the Lo- mein. So I agreed! Waited 15mins (no biggie) went back in, opened the food and there was no rice. I asked why when that’s what I ordered and was up charged 3dollars. The lady wanted me to pay an additional fee for rice. I declined and left. Got home and realized that nothing is actually seasoned. Everything tastes the same & the Chicken( which was not “bourbon’d ” & apparently comes with broccoli) is just sitting in mad runny sauce, a glaze or cooked WITH the chicken would’ve been nice.….NEVER seen light skinned Bourbon chicken, oh & the egg roll was stale but hey lol lesson learned I guess!

I used to like this place when I first moved here. It's been awhile so I figured I'd go back since they were so nice. Well it's new workers there. I ordered shrimp egg foo young and small white rice cuz I don't like it. N extra gravy. I get home at they put chicken fried rice in there and half the gravy leaked out. The best thing was the homemade tea. You can't mess tea up!!

This was my first time trying Chan's & I love their food! I ordered the veggie fried rice with fried chicken, very fresh, Not oily, just right. Veggie eggrolls were also good, different but good. The egg drop soup hit the Spot!! Will return ??

I have been eating at New Dragon on N. Main St. a few times a week since arriving in JAX. Pipping hot delicious foods, cheap too. Because they were closed on Mondays, I found Chan’s today. The guy who took the order was great and the food was ready fast. But the food was mediocre at the best. Also, their dry & crumbly white rice was the strangest rice that I’ve ever had. I won’t be going back.

Lo mein and wontons in the wonton soup were soggy and not a lot of flavor. Meh flavor in daughter's food, also... Won't be going back.
Got the ribs combination with a small hot & sour soup to try it out and I loved it. The soup was full of flavor and super spicy, and the ribs were on point. The eggroll was golden crispy. I got it delivered through door dash and it arrived in perfect shape, on time and hot.

Chan's used to be excellent but this last experience was so disappointing. Absolutely everything was extremely bland. Wonton soup (bland wontons & flavorless broth), Egrolls (bland), Chicken on a stick (tough and somehow bland), Bourbon chicken (Tough with some minimal flavor), Egg Fried Rice (bland AF). The prices were within reason but if I'm throwing away more than half of the food because my kids and I don't want to keep eating it, then the cost goes up dramatically. IDK what the deal was with this experience but I would not return here again to find out. It's miles from what it used to be a couple years ago. Plenty of other options in the area to have this happen again.
