Not the friendliest place. We walked in on a Tuesday at 7 p.m., after driving for 7 hours. The hostess and manager were annoyed that we didn't have a reservation. We waited for a table in the bar. We ordered the $60 prime rib dinner and the avocado mango shrimp tower. Received the Caesar salad, and then, 3 minutes later, the prime rib came. The salad was limp, and the prime rib was very fatty and not appetizing. The avocado dish came 35 minutes later. Ridiculous. The lava cake, which took 45 minutes to make, was overbaked with no "lava" to be found and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Nothing remarkable.Skip this overpriced faded relic of a restaurant. You have lots of other choices.

Great quality filet mignon and potatoes. Nice atmosphere. Very pricey, so it’s not somewhere for the average Joe to stop frequently, but maybe for a birthday or special occasion.

My favorite is the lump crabcakes, but never been disappointed with anything else in over 40 years.

Great fine dining bar or date environment. High-end, great service. If you sit at the bar, ask for Sudath. Excellent bartender, a master of his craft. Food was great, would have loved a broader selection of steak and sea options but solid. Architecture is very unique.

We went here for my birthday and were extremely disappointed. The wait time was incredibly long for the food. We waited about an hour for our appetizer and the soup we ordered never came— I had to remind the waitress twice for the soup. All of our food came cold. There were not enough servers for the number of guests in the restaurant. Our waitress checked on us once during the two hours that we sat there. The filet was cooked well, king crab legs were slightly over cooked, the prime rib was over cooked (asked for medium we received close to well done). The drinks we ordered were delicious (the caged tiki and the fleur d lis) but also took 30 minutes.Hannah was our server and she was kind but spread very thin, she compensated us for our trouble by offering a free dessert. Not sure why, but the seats closest to the water front are facing away from the water, another guest also thought that was strange.

The quality and cooking skills of the steak here are as good as that of high-end steakhouses in New York. The atmosphere is great, and I was especially impressed by the kindness of the servers.

My family and I like to dine when we get a chance atthe Chart House. This nice was family outing, nothing special. We just wanted a nice quiet place to have dinner after attending the local hockey game. Yeah, we definitely didn't get that. The area we were sat in had a number of large parties going on, so of course it was very loud. When our dinner arrived, my wife and daughter both had the chicken and it was WAY overcooked. Couldn't even cut into it. I had the 10oz prime rib and it was overcooked as well, couldn't hardly even cut it. My mashed potatoes were even cold. Our waiter was far and few between as we had to wait for several minutes to get his attention. Since our meal was pretty much shot, the best the manager offered us was a couple of free salad bar visits. LOL. When we finally did get our meal right, it was 'okay'. Nothing to write home about. It's going to be awhile before we will be returning. (I even used my $50 eCompCard after the bad experience I had in Boston a few months ago to make up for the bad lunch experience I had at that Chart House location.)

We will definitely be back. We decided last night that this was a great little hidden secret that we've all been missing out on, so we'll be back the first week of every odd month. See you all in May!
