I think they are leaving all the seasoning and spice out for the old people in our area. This food is depressing. These is no love or flavor. It wasn’t like this in the beginning. It used to be great. Now it’s terrible.

If you want to be treated like family this is the place to go! The servers always greet you with a smile. The food is amazing. The portions are so large we almost always have to take some home. Great for a midnight snack! The atmosphere is quaint. It is a place we like to frequent often! Alan & Donna

Cinco de Mayo restaurant is my Go-To Mexican restaurant for Carnitas and drinks. They don't have the best tacos in Jacksonville but I can definitely vouch for their carnitas, chile rellenos, enchiladas, homemade salsas, beer & mixed drinks, service (always friendly), & atmosphere. Portions is another added bonus, I almost always need a takeout box every time I order an entree/combo. And through the many years I've been coming here (even at older location), food usually comes out pretty fast even when they're busy.

I've eating at all the Cincos in Jax. And this one is by far the best. ? ? The service and management are great. Food taste the best and the most fresh. If it's far from you, I promise it's worth the drive. Love this place. Also they have Taco Tuesday && Taco Thursday ? 1.99 tacos. I would give them 10 stars if I could. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Horchata was powder mix and no good. Food was decent but not comparable to other Mexican style restaurants we've been too.

The guacamole was delicious and I’m normally not a fan. Both entrees were good, not outstanding, but would visit again. Atmosphere was nice and seems like a cool place to have a margarita.

Lunch Menu Pricing is not overly expensive. Mexican music, art and menu all combine for a true Mexican feeling. We were not blown away by friendly service. Then again in my experience, the service is at a par level with other Mexican places I've been to. The Enchiladas were good but not great. Good black beans. The taco salad was good but not great. They don't skimp on the meat. They use real grated cheese and shredded chicken. All in all I don't think you'll be disappointed if you give them a try. Next time we'll have to try thier Margaritas

Food was good but service was poor. Ordered a dish with no guacamole it came out covered in guacamole. Also ordered cheese dip but never got it, and ordered black beans and never got them. Server never refilled drinks. Might just be the server we had.
