The outdoor seating in front and in the back are so nice. It’s especially a vibe in the evenings. The food is really good and there are lots of vegetarian options. The first time I went, the server and host were not the nicest, but I had a much better experience with a server the second time that I ate here. Location is really nice, walkable to lots of bars and shops.Vegetarian options: Lots of really good vegetarian options.

It was our 3rd or 4th attempt at Crane Ramen and always had Tonkotsu Ramen. Sorry to say this, but it has always been an unpleasant experience. The broth is always watery and greasy, shimeji with no flavor at all. Chasu was tasty, though. And that was it.I hope the owners tried some real ramen, either in NYC, Atlanta or even at Modu at Baymeadows. Much richer broth.I truly hope the owners could apply this feedback and make the food to be as nice as the rest of the restaurant.

This little spot in five points is definitely worth the hype.My boyfriend is a very big fan and said that he lovessss their Old Fashioned’s here. As a bartender myself, I had to try it! He was not wrong. The drinks were top notch! Now the important part, the food! ?I ordered their “Tonkotsu” Ramen from the menu and it was the best experience I could’ve had for my first real Ramen experience EVER!I am so glad he suggested this amazing place. The server was super cool too and she allowed me to get out of using chopsticks and bailed me out with a fork ?Next time, my skills will be better! There will for SURE be a next time! ❤️

The food is here always hits the spot, between the ramen and the pork buns you can't go wrong (you better try the pork buns). My only gripe is the servers tend to sometimes sit in the back by the bar lurking instead of checking up on customers more. This stopped me from getting some more appetizers at the pace I'd like but it's only enough to knock 1 star off.

This food was amazing! I had a spicy tonga something bowl. My step son had something else, his had Purple broccoli! Looked pretty cool.Small place, comfortable and cool atmosphere. It is in the trendy part of town. Our two bowls came out to around 30 bucks.Has my recommendation, I know I'll be back

The bao buns were fantastic. The best texture for the buns I’ve found locally - the perfect ratio of bready, soft, and moist. The ramen was really good. The cocktail was ok. The ambience of the place is modern and clean, with floral and artsy aesthetic. Worth a try.

I brought my daughter here for her birthday back in April and the entire staff was AMAZING! Jorge made sure our party was accommodated and Lucy was on point with serving! It was an absolute joyful and stress-free experience for my family and me. The food was delicious, also! Even the rain didn't ruin our experience. Thank you all so very much!

Food was good, service was great. I had the Shio. I just wish the ramen had more than 2 small pieces of meat. Should have gotten extras. No wontons either! Sold out! :( Soup was a little salty, but still good.

Always good service and great food! We usually sit outside but today was too warm out so we enjoyed the dining room. The 4 times we have gone we got a table right away and the food came quickly. The servers are all knowledgeable about the menu and offer great recommendations if you need some help. I always get the Don with vegetables and spicy pork. My husband and kids get the Ramen. It was my sisters birthday so she got some Mochi for dessert.

Five Points Neighborhood area, parking: like playing Crossy Roads, except you're the car, hoping u don't hit a hippy pedestrian. Do grin when u find a spot to park. Although Jacksonville citizens want to label this place trendy and historic- it feels more like a .25 mile radius haven for marijuana smokers, craft-beer hopping 20 something's, and street nooks littered with homelessness ... Kind of similar to NYC Village- but it's ugly red headed stepchild more kind of vibe... Crane Ramen is in the "trendy" Five-Points zone. It has small seating out front, inside main lobby, by the bar zone towards the back and an outdoor area adjacent to the bar. It is pretty swanky by the bar. Outdoor seating in the back smells if u sit closer to the alley way. THE FOOD. Gyoza and Pork Belly Moshu bun were delicious. Chicken Ramen broth was good, the Ramen noodle... well it's comparable to the 50 cent Ramen noodle you can buy in the Asian grocery store... I had the Special Ramen of the day... it had 3 large Shrimp, ramen noodles, standard egg, and some veges but the broth lacked flavor. For an 17 dollar soup special of the day you would think it would have a wow factor. It lacked the wow, kind of similar to this Five Points District.

I had the WORST ramen in my life but this place deserve more than 1 star. Let me explain. This place let me experience the worst thing with $11. Now I feel like I am invincible because I KNOW I had the worst ramen here. Wherever I go I will remember this place and forever thankful for the whatever the meal that I am having on that day. Its like the army bootcamp experience. Once you go through the boot camp everything else seems easy. Crane you gave me that courage with your ramen. Thank you.

I stopped by for a quick bite to eat during their happy hour. Crane Ramen has several happy hour specials every day from 4-6 pm, including $5 baos! I ordered the roasted pork belly steamed buns, which were delicious. The pork belly itself was extremely tender, and the sauce it was paired with was super flavorful. Everyone was raving about their ramen, so I'll have to come back one day to try the ramen!

Cool little spot that we stumbled into when Hawkers had an hour wait. Drinks are expensive, like 14 dollars for a small cocktail expensive. Ordered the pork gyoza, which was quite awful and flavorless. Had their kara-age chicken which is quite tasty, and the chicken bao which was also lovely, and if I ever come back, I'd order those two again. Had the shoyu ramen which was terrible. It was so greasy, and oily. Flavor tasted like burnt smoke. Pork was refrigerator cold. Not sure if I would come back. Service was great however.

Don't come for the ramen. Got the tonkotsu pork ramen & one of the squash/veggie ramen. Wasnt good at all.My pork broth tasted pretty oily, my pork was overdone. Didn't bother drinking my broth. The best thing in my bowl was the added seaweed. The veggie ramen broth was quite sweet but the veggies flavorless. The egg in ramen very salty. The service was decent, but food was very overpriced for the quality. Go literally anywhere else.

If you are looking for something different and love noodles then this is the place. The fried chicken buns appetizer was delicious! For a casual lunch/supper this place is great!
