I have visited the place on several occasions and they have good food. The treatment between the workers and I have been able to see is not the best. The man I have seen taking orders is quite rude with the women who work there and discusses internal situations of the business with clients. Owners should pay attention to what happens there

We ordered a cake that looked horrible! After showing pictures of what my sister received, we asked for a refund. We were told to come to the restaurant for a full refund the next business day. when we came to the restaurant the owner wasn’t there to speak with us. We came later in the day and was denied our refund because we didn’t have the cake to return! We throw the trash away just like anyone else would! We have several photos of how damaged it was received. I use to support this place for what it was but I’m over it. Very unprofessional and didn’t have any customer service!

To begin with, upon entering this place, everything was very nice and quiet, there was not a single customer in the establishment. Maybe because it was 2:45pm when I arrived. When I looked at the counter where they usually have food, I realized that there was nothing, just empty trays, and I asked the man who was serving what the menu was? I mean because they didn't have food on the counter and he responded that they had just brought it back to the kitchen, something that I found very strange. When he told me everything they had, I ended up ordering white rice with black beans and baked chicken and a passion fruit/chinola judo. I asked for all this to take with me. When I got to where I was going and opened the plate of food I realized that the baked chicken looked more like stewed chicken. Please look at the photo I uploaded so you can see what he said. The baked chicken looked like it had been cooked in a soup and then put in an oven to get a little color. It tasted horrible, had no flavor and was not cooked properly. The white rice was also poorly cooked and the passion fruit/chinola juice tasted like old orange. Without a doubt this is the worst Dominican restaurant I have ever eaten in my entire life. Personally I do not recommend this restaurant due to the bad experience I had. The only good thing I can say is that the place is clean, the atmosphere is very quiet, but the food is terrible.

I have been here couple of times and each time it was only for the food because customer service sucks. The guy thats at the front counter( he might be the owner) is always rude and short. He never have any smile on his face nor does he greets you. He is just grumpy, but the ladies are super nice. Each time I ask for hot sauce, he will say "ok" but doesn't put it in the bag. This is not only one time, he did that couple times including today. I also wanted beef empanadas but he gave me chicken also the plantains looked old and dried out. I won't be coming back to this place anymore. I see why this place is always empty.
