This place is convenient and the closest sushi restaurant to us, so I do eat here often enough. While it's not the favorite, it does satisfy the sushi craving. I wasn't a huge fan of the fried rice (side shrimp fried rice), so I think I'll only pick up sushi from now on. We also have never dined in, only take out, so maybe it's a better experience in the restaurant.

Fancy sushi is where my brother took me out to eat here in Jacksonville, Fl. The food are very yummy and fulfilling. We had all sorts of stuff from Kimchi soup, fried chicken, dynamite roll and lobster sushi to name a few. Service was fast and the place looks modern and fresh some were celebrating birthdays and all. Simple and does the job for my first night out in beautiful Duval County. I will be coming back to the other goodness in the menu. Tons of selection I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

I went to this place for dinner with a friend and I will say I very thrown off by how big and overstuffed the rolls were. I mean some may say hey that's even better, but it was a no for me. Also I asked for a glass of wine and when the server brought me my glass of wine the glass was dirty, and still had someone's lipstick stain on. That to me was gross. Safe to say I won't be going here again.

Completely impressed and reminded that great service and care does still exist in the hospitality.. placed an online order 30 mins before close of business. Apparently, it didn't go through. Arrived 5 mins after they closed downs and then realized my order hadn't been completely. The manager on duty and chef that were about to close, turned the hibachi grill back on and made me a delicious meal without skipping a breathe. Their kindness and consideration to attend to my needs and make sure I was fed (because I hadnt eaten all day) and satisfied with my entire experience without even having to ask them - I am beyond grateful, impressed & this is the type of business that I like to return to on a regular basis and give as much business to! Way to go Fancy Sushi! 5 Stars all of the way around for every part of my experience!!!

average pricing for the food and place good portions We were very happily surprised at this place. Great flavors, good service, with a descent setting. Tables or sushi bar, both, but a little small. So if you're planning a big group, probably better call. So, if you have dentures, maybe don't order the steak . You won't leave hungry and you won't be sorry that you ate here and you'll probably still have moneyall in all a pretty good place to have lunch. I got to say, though, I never have had a fortune cookie at a Japanese restaurant before.

This was my Birthday lunch and it left much to be desired. I wish I would have followed my first mind and went to my usual spot. Note to self...Don't get fried rice from a sushi place you're not familiar with. Also the sushi rolls were lacking flavor. I try to give restaurants a fair shake despite reviews so no regrets, but I will not be returning.

I've frequented Fancy Sushi 12 times just this past year. Will no longer use Atlantic Blvd location! Ordered online for take-out but there was no option to add comments or use their $5 off coupon from Mint magazine. I requested an adjustment of bill upon arrival. The cashier requested assistance from another young lady w/light colored bangs who rudely told me "I can't fix an online order. You should have called it in. YOU GET THAT?!!" I'm a senior and really didn't appreciate the nasty tone of her response, or any offer of assistance! We will not be back. You get that!

The best sushi in jacksonville! Definitely visit if you are in town they have a great menu with lots of options and go out of their way to do special extras that make it even more special! The staff is amazing and the food is delicious! Highly recommend!
The food and everything about the restaurant was great. They also had some of the best holiday rolls I've ever had. However, when it was time to pay the waiter tried to set his own tip at 22% of the bill.

Found a long hair I believe was from the waitress in the free soup they give when you sit down. I actually pulled out it out of my mouth to be totally clear. She only offered an apology. I have loved the food here in the past and atmosphere but this was totally GROSS!
Spacious ln size, attentive customer service, exceptional food with an expansive selection. Just typing this review has me craving the sushi and the hibachi and the soups again. Whether your looking for a great take out option or a cozy date night locale this place should be considered. Now where did I put that take out menu ??

The atmosphere is really nice; the music is great but most importantly, the food is amazing. Everything was delicious. We ordered hibachi. They don't cook it in front of you here but I don't mind that. By far, this is the best hibachi in Jacksonville.
