Very good food and service. Waiter was very polite and helpful with the menu since I have never had Cuban food before. It was a little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

If you want to have a good time and eat real Cuban food, don't go to this restaurant, there are many better places in Jacksonville, for example Mambos Cuban Café or La PalmeritaThe food at HAVANA JAX was a disappointment, the black beans, the pork dough, the dessert was the worst, and the attention from a waiter who must be a learner who mishandles gastronomy techniques and has a lot to learn. It's a disaster of a place and it's not very crowded.

I am giving it a one-star rating because there is no option to put zero and not to mention the Cuba Libre nightclub where the least that happened to me is that the waitress asked me for the tip in cash and not in a card, a reason that I did not understand but it leaves a lot to say. wish for a place like this.Suggestion: replacement of personnel from the cook to the manager since there is a lack of equipment that threatens the. quality of services, which causes direct impact on the client.

The restaurant was clean and open to the club next door, Cuba Libre?? Roast Pork was very good, as were the plantains and black beans. The ham croquettes were a little mushy, but had a tasty dipping sauce. The chicken empanada was good, pico was really good. The service was prompt, but the kitchen was a little slow especially considering I was the only person there.

I will tell you my experience, I came before and asked for a Cortadito, the answer was that they did not know about it and that it did not exist, I was very disappointed to hear that response from a Cuban restaurant, a month later I returned and what a great surprise I had when I met the best Waiter in the world, Mr. Miguel Anjel, served me with so much love, affection, and most importantly his professionalism, he prepared me the best Cortadito I have ever tried before. I recommend this delicious Havana Jax restaurant!!!
