Got there about 6:30 and it was empty. No biggie. Ordered two burritos and two tacos. The beef in the tacos was dry and like it was sitting in a warmer all day. The queso was not hot at all and was clumpy warm. The Dr. Pepper and Diet DP were both out. The salsa bar was basically empty. Overall the food was average at best. I’ve eaten here many times and even used their catering and it was good in the past. Seems this location is slipping.Worst part was they had no working bathrooms. My daughter was told to walk down the street to Panera to use the restroom. Pretty sure you have to have working bathrooms or that is a code violation.

Burrito used to come with chips, just like at pretty much any similar burrito place. Except the burritos here cost more. And now they don't come with chips. But don't worry, they still cost just as much. You have lost my business. Used to be a regular, not coming back

I want to start off by saying that Hightide catered my wedding reception in 2020, I used to eat lunch there two times a week, and I have had the San Marco location cater work events many times. Unfortunately, Hightide is just not the same anymore. My husband and I were so excited when they open their new location closer to our home in Ortega, and every time we have been, once we sit down and order our food, the server tells us that it will take 25 minutes for the food to come out, for it to always then be at least 40 minutes. When we visited this weekend, our experience was no different, but a bit worse. The restaurant is clearly shortstaffed, which we are always very understanding of. However, we were told the chips and salsa would cost us money, even though the menu says that the first basket is free. Then, I got a burrito salad with protein, as I always have over the years, and my go-to has been the cilantro lime vinaigrette. With salads on their menu, you would expect a few tex-mex dressing options, but unfortunately, I was only offered ranch or Caesar. No vinaigrette, or oil based option. When our food finally came out, we were told that they ran out of silverware, and I was given a very small plastic fork to eat salad out of a giant bowl with. What I don’t understand is how they could have run out of silverware, when the restaurant was not even half full. So, they must not have silverware to cover themselves if the restaurant was full. I have always been a huge fan of hightide, but unfortunately, our experience has been consistently poor the last few times.

I usually really love eating here, despite the higher prices the food is really good. However, my most recent order fell below expectations. I ordered online on Sunday 1/7 around 1pm. My wife’s burrito was the typical size it usually is, but my 904 was insulting for $15. Burritos at Taco Bell are bigger than this thing. Picture for scale.

Nothing unique or special about this food. The queso tasted like warmed milk with absolutely no flavor and all the toppings looked like they came from a can or a jar like I could've made at home. It was dead during lunch hour so great if you want in and out but if unique, flavorful and satisfying fare is what you're looking for, keep looking. Parking is horrible around the building and there's little to no way to get in and turn around.Vegetarian options: Vegan chorizo

Great vibe, chicken was juicy and well seasoned, wings are grilled but CRISPY! Loaded tots are tight, 10/10 would eat again.

Im only giving 2 stars because the food was good but the price was ridiculous. $17 for 3 small tacos and $13 for a quesadilla. Its like restaurants have lost their mind since the covid scam. If youre going to charge $17 for 3 tacos load up on the meat. My tacos barely had a tablespoon worth of steak to go with cheese and letucce and a thin line of sour cream. After a $ 11 dollar tip I paid $71 for 6 small tacos 1 quesadilla and 2 sodas. I mean you can get a steak dinner for $17. I had about 3 oz. of meat in my tacos do the math thats about $90 a pound. Could be why the reasturant was empty. DO BETTER!!

They have excellent food. We ordered the Carne Con Papas burrito, steak fajita tacos, and chips & Queso. We'll definitely come back again to Hightide Burrito Co.
