“I wasn't that much of a fan of Indian food, but this one changed my mind. Their chicken is juicy, buttery and colorful. Tandoori chicken and curry chicken are a great start for me and they're better than I expected. Service was good, nothing to complain. Overall, very great atmospheric restaurant, if you're interested on trying Indian cuisines I would recommend it.“
“Mesa is simply amazing. The passion behind the initiative from Saji and her gifted son (who is the chief chef) just flows gloriously from their vivid imagination to mouth watering dishes to the palate and just disappears into the stomach. It feels as if you can keep eating the deliciously made, hand crafted, totally authentic and somehow healthy dishes and the only danger is that one ends up way overeating. It doesn't help that while you are eating you get such undivided, loving and personal attention (most of the time from the lady her self, our dear Saji), you just get carried away with the love, the insanely tasteful dishes with lineage from Kerala in one way or another and to top it all you sit in a lovely cozy setup whether inside or outside admiring the beautiful hand drawn profile of Brittany, Saji's lovely daughter. What can I say, it is hands down one of my most fav restaurants to go to period. I hope it continues to grow from strength to strength. All the best to all of you Saji. We are coming back soon...“
“Food was fresh and very delicious. I tried the garlic naan, the chicken with brown curry bowl and the mango lassi.Lassi was prepared right there in the moment.Three curry sauces to try, ranging from mild to hot, and you can choose meat, chicken or tofu for your protein.I will return try other items in the menu.Went for dinner on a weekday. Plenty of free parking. Location was clean.“
“Spice Grill Indian Cuisine offers an exceptional dining experience that leaves an unforgettable impression. Their attention to detail is impeccable, from the warm welcome to the expertly crafted dishes. I recently picked up two orders of their Chicken Tikka Masala (spicy), and it was hands-down some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, and the spice level delivered as promised. Spice Grill is a must-try for anyone craving authentic, high-quality Indian cuisine in Jacksonville.“
“Best Indian Food in Florida! Love the taste and veggie options. Owner is super nice and makes everything fresh to order. The taste of the veggies and sauce is superb. Highly recommended seeking out this amazing taste of India in a food truck!Vegetarian options: Tofu, paneer, potato.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian:)Kid-friendliness: Offer candies to the kiddos:)Wheelchair accessibility: Owner will accommodate.“
“This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Jacksonville (and I’ve been to most of them!). The ambiance of the restaurant is so nice, they put a lot of effort into making it look cute. I’ve always had good service here except during the weekend buffets, but it’s understandable because it gets really crazy busy. They also offer a vegan buffet on Thursday which I really love that they offer.“
“These guys epitomize what it means to be a good neighbor. Tonight the power went out in my corner. I called it into JEA and trampled out to find some AC, a place to charge up my Phone and dinner. Between the electric and some work brouhaha I wanted no part of, I was flustered in ordering and blurted out my current predicament. The counter guy brought me a complimentary water, graciously let me use a power outlet, and let me get myself reset before returning to deal with JEA and what turned out to be a busted transformer. I was rushed or hurried out. There was no side eye of “how long is he going to be here” or even for the meager order I put in to justify my presence. In that moment they took care of my physically (food and water) and psychologically (safe place, charged up phone, etc). I was already a fan of this place before this hiccup in life. Now I’m a grateful patron who love this neighbor BIG time. To these guys it may not have seemed like they did much but in that moment you guys rocked it like all stars. So don’t go to these guys for their AMAZING food (I could have their samosas daily and be so happy). Go and celebrate what a WONDERFUL part of the community they are… forever in your debt for that hour of peace you guys gave.“
“Ordered biryani and curry to go. First, when you enter the smell of cooking spices meets you, then the friendly staff welcomed me and answered my questions about the menu. Then, when I got home, the food was fantastic. My new favorite Indian food in JAX. I was amused that when I ordered the second style Biryani (for me) they seemed cautious when I expressed my desire for more spicy than the rest of my order. (it was chicken 65 biryani, it would be a crime to ask for mild wouldn't it?) Everything was perfect! I can't wait to go back and try food straight from the kitchen. Our entire order was for Chicken65 Biryani, Lamb Biryani, and Bagara Baingan. We also had extra raita.“
“This was clearly very authentic Indian food, but also the seasoning was just right for the American palate. I loved the lamb korma and the tikka chicken biryani. The rice pudding and mango mousse were delicious! The food was gorgeous too and I loved the Bollywood movies that were playing. The service was exceptional and quite quick. I think the Thali options which are available Sunday to Thursday are a wonderful way to an introduction to Indian food. Come visit Masala Indian Cuisine for amazing authentic Indian food.Dietary restrictions: They have many vegetarian and gluten-free optionsKid-friendliness: This is definitely a kid-friendly place because the food comes out quickly and they have the movies playingWheelchair accessibility: This location is wheelchair accessible and they are quite open to having individuals in a wheelchairs visit“
“EDIT 2024: they moved out of their main building a few months ago into the strip mall location. Still very good food!! Blown away! I eat here REGULARLY as I have lived just a few miles away for several years. I heard they were giving out free food after Hurricane Irma. These folks had NO POWER and were giving out food with kerosene heaters. I went on Tuesday evening with my family, thinking I could BUY dinner to thank them for their generosity - nope! they were STILL giving out free food and refused to accept any money. These folks are GOOD PEOPLE and even better, they make YUMMY FOOD! I don't think I can say that enough!“
“AMAZING authentic Indian cuisine!!! Hands down best Indian food in town!! This place is inside a little Indian/Pakistan shopping mall with a food court, and it's side by side to another restaurant 'Istanbul' ... best Hummus in town!!! The Lamb Shank was superbly soft and “
