Warning: Theater Menu when there are shows across the street. Limited options, no mention of limited menu until you get there and even then, no mention until you're seated. 7:30pm is when they offer their standard menu. Dog was in the kitchen, seems unsanitary.

Our server was fantastic! The location is perfect for one attending the Performing Arts Center. However, the kitchen had issues with a sizeable crowd for one of the three appetizers that we ordered never arrived. We had to cancel that specific item. But .... again, the food we had was good and the service excellent!

Stopped in to the bar before dinner for Happy Hour, bartender just ignored me until I called to him. I asked about Happy Hour since they weren't showing a sign at the bar, he gave me what I thought was the happy hour special but turns out it wasn't. He had left and I had two full priced cocktails, not okay. Service at dinner was just as blah, server approached said hi then left for the night. New server comes over and takes our order, which she didn't get right. In addition, the restaurant was freezing with icy air blowing at us, when we mentioned to the server she said it is cold but running around it feels good for her, didn't care that we were freezing. Breakfast service was just as mediocre. At the food was good.

This place could be so much better. Food was ok. Wait staff is doing their best but seems like they are still understaffed. The restaurant needs a remodel, chairs are looking very worn. I know the hotel is undergoing a renovation, I hope they get to the lobby.

Our reservation @ 5pm before the Symphony at 7:30 was a perfect experience. Server was one of the most attentive we have had anywhere. Knowledgeable about the menu items, followed his suggestion on the Grillled Octupus and it was cooked as it should be ! Will be ordering that again here, as we stay at Marriot & eat at Juliet's several times a year before events at Fla Times Union. The Grilled Salmon and Shrimp & Grits were prepared perfectly. The vegetables with the Salmon were a real treat for my wife. The shrimp & grits with a different tomato based sauce was unique & I will be ordering again. We have never been less than completely satisfied dining here over the last several years and will continue to do so. It is a treat to us!!

It was terrible. Disappointing and ridiculos. Would not recommend Our reservations were at 530. We had a show at 7 a short walk across the street. We sat down and ordered drinks. After checking on them 3 times they arrived at 615. They were in plastic cups, no ice and 1/3 of the way full. The house wine 1 of us ordered was $25 for the glass. ( the don't have a house wine the waitress said she told us wrong). At 615 we asked to speak to the manager to show her our drink debacle. The waitress told us the manager was busy delivering food. We never saw her At 635 the waitress said she was waiting on 1 more wedge salad. I asked ther to bring whatever was ready. WE dug up cash for the bill and left. The entire event was a debacle

This restaurant has so much potential but they have NO SERVERS!!!! One poor man was trying to take care of 10+ tables, and nobody won. Plus............shrimp cocktail was served in a bowl - seriously - and our $17 glasses of wine were served in PLASTIC CUPS - AFTER we had finished our dinner. We wanted to love this place, but we will NEVER return. Truly felt VERY sorry for our poor server............it was very sad.

The amount of things wrong with our experience there is way to numerous to handle, but my suggestion to any restaurant is that if you are short staffed or cannot handle a group in a timely fashion - then please do us both a favor and let us know up front so that we can make a decision to stay or not. I would have had so much more respect if they would have. I am assuming that this meant also that they didn't have a dishwasher because they ran out of glasses at 5:30 in the evening and served our $15 drink in a clear solo cup...enough said.

Pros: great location if you're catching a show at the Jax Performing Arts Cons: 1.place was extremely Smokey and smelled like burning meat as they have an open kitchen & were flipping tons of burgers on the grill. 2. Our server was totally overwhelmed with our party of 8 even though we all had simple orders. 3. Not much of a choice, limited menu and happy hour is OVER BY 5 when we arrived. 4. Food was average, nothing great or even really good. 5. Waiter was nice but although he tried to give us our own checks he totally messed them up charging people for drinks, food they didn't have, it took so long for him to straighten them out that we were late for our show. Overall, if you're going to a concert, show etc. maybe stop for a drink at the bar only.

It started out nice, then went downhill. Food was served, but not proper temperature. Never did the server come back to check on us, and it took 30 minutes to get the check, which was incorrect.

John at the bar has a phenomenal memory and always serves a great drink. Try the filet for dinner. Go for after symphony drinks to wait for traffic to die down.

Menu is co.pletely different than what you see online....so right away disappointed. We asked for bread and they br ok ought us microwaved bread slices so when they cooked you literally could not even bite or break them. Then our meals took very very long to come out. The food was average...we had blackened Mahi, veal chop and salad...just ordinary. Nothing special. Throughout the meal we had to ask for water...not attentive service at all. Will not be back.

We've dined here for years when we were attending an event at the Performing Arts Center across the street. However, this time the service was SO SLOW that after waiting OVER AN HOUR for our meal, we had to leave so we wouldn't miss the start of the show. We ended grabbing a hot pretzel and a bottled water in the lobby for our lunch. It was very disappointing! I blame management for POOR PLANNING and not allowing for the onslaught of people showing up before the matinee.

We had a great experience at Juliette's Bistro. This is a great place to have dinner before seeing a show at Times Union, as it is right across the street. Great menu with plenty of options.

Menu a bit limited, but everything was very good and supported by very attentive service. Much better than you'd expect at a hotel. Great restaurant for visits to the Performing Arts Center.
