This is my favorite hand clapping 5 star choice for delicious food. This place has the feel and friendliness you can depend on. Choice house favorites and a plethora of dishes make it a great stop.

Small older mom in pop shop kinda hidden entrance with a not so appealing dinning room. The best food cheap and friendly. To go margaritas 11 for 30oz. Chili Colorado is awesome, rolled tacos to cure your doubts about this place.

This was our first time at Las Tapatias Mexican restaurant and 4 of us dined in last evening. The dinners were all so good and very authenticity prepared Mexican cuisine! I had Barria Cabrito and this is the only place outside of Texas that I have found Cabrito and it was fantastic. However, the menue stated braised goat chunks and it was actually prepared as barbicoa but still delicious, served with rice, beans, home style corn tortias, chopped onions and cilantro! All 4 of us loved the experience and we will definitely return very soon to try the Caldos!Tim

Where do I start! The food was so delicious I forgot to take a picture before I ate but it was so good I didn't want to go get my phone for take out it was really good great price and it was prepared in perfect timing I at least can show the end results the food was finger lickingContinued review different day...Order $74 worth of food and felt like I got half that amount it was already not a good start to see that the prices that are online does not reflect the price they tell you when you call smh ma'am sirs senor y senores that's called tipping yourselves enjoy the pictures I have provided along with my second review of the place as you can see the rice wasn't even a handful and the meat!! There was waaayyyy more onions than meat to fool your eyes with the food ..well I'm no longer spending money there and whats more sad I just gave them 3 extra customers convinced them to buy food from there and this is what happened smh..the food is still good I don't wanna sound like I didn't enjoy it but I felt robbed

I’ve been coming here regularly for six years, and it makes me happy to see the glow up . Just great food and service always. Always busy, but I never have to wait for a table and the food is just what you want from a Mexican restaurant. My comfort spot deserve all the praise. I Recommend the pastor tacos, quesadillas and nacho to name a few.

I had a couple of $4 street tacos which were outstanding! Servers were great also, but I was unexpectedly charged $4 for a tiny condiment sized cup of pico de gallo, and $3.95 for carbonated fountain water (not bottled). So with a tip, just over $20 for a couple of tacos with complementary chips.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville. I bring my friends and co-workers here, and they all love it too. The food is amazing and the employees are very nice. I order carry out at least once a week and it is always great.
