Went today 2/16/23. Recently the ownership has changed and inside it’s all called “wings” while on the outside being called “Mack’s tenders” Mack’s was by far the best tenders I had growing up on 210 and no other place compared to it in Jacksonville, the new ownership is terrible. The tenders are completely different and horrible. The fries were terrible and the portion sizes are way smaller. I’m sad the good old Mack’s tenders is gone. I will not be showing up agian, I took a bite of one tender just to try it and one fry and threw the whole plate away. This trip was by far a waste of my 11$.

Good place, we got garlic parmasean and teriyaki traditional wings, great taste, fresh, crispy wings. Fries were perfectly cooked. The sweet tea was fresh. The tenders were good. A little light on the seasoning, would recommend if getting tenders to get sauce along with it. But still pretty good plain.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower wings

We've been to Mack's a handful of times over the past few years. The food is good, they were able to provide good options for my GF parents, and it's always fresh. I'm rating 4 stars because we've tried to eat here twice in the past couple weeks and it's been closed. The first for the holidays with a sign on the door (but not updated on Google). When we were there that day, we noticed a big sign on the door saying open 7 days a week. But after driving all the way here, Google shows they are not open on Sundays even though Apple shows they are open and so does their own website. The front door still says open 7 days a week. While we love the food, we are hesitant to pick the location now if we cannot be sure they are open.Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating for my gluten free parents.

The chicken was crunchy, nice. It wasn’t dry at all. The food here is great! The atmosphere is really nice and caring. My cashier James was really kind and outgoing. This is my first time here, and he showed me what to try ! I went 30 minutes out of my way and it was a great decision to come here! I highly recommend this place!

Everything is super fresh and their sauces are amazing! I love spicy and rarely find anything that’s both hot and flavorful but I found it today. Texas toast was perfectly seasoned and crispy outside, soft inside. We will definitely be back.

We were looking for a place to eat on our way back from Florida. The food was fresh but very small portions and not as fast as they advertise. We had to wait as long as if we had gone to a sit down restaurant which is not what we had the time for. The cashier never smiled and barely spoke. The food was plopped down by her in closed to go boxes. She still never hardly spoke. The worst part is two meals cost almost $30. We were still hungry after and had to go to the gas station next door to get additional snacks. I got 16 small sweet potato tater tots btw. My daughter got a very small handful of fries. Also my son ordered mild sauce and he got spicy. Wedidn’t have time to wait for a replacement.

Amazing chicken! never dry and has a really good crunch! i usually stop in on my lunch break and they never disappoint! if you're looking for something fast with great quality food, Mack's is the place to go. Will definitely be coming back for more!

PHENOMENAL!! Everything about Mack’s Tenders is phenomenal. I tried out their chicken tenders for the first time today, and I was blown away. Everything was awesome from the taste of the food, infinite sauce choices, to the amazing customer service. I ordered a 3 piece tender meal and got more food than I can comfortably eat for an extremely fair price. The cashier was very helpful and so kind. I can’t say enough good things about Mack’s. Don’t waste your time with any other chicken restaurant!! You absolutely will NOT regret your meal at Mack’s Tenders. I’ll be telling anyone and everyone about this little slice of chicken heaven!!

I got to go from here a few weeks ago (copied from my yelp review). Me and my fiancé got two orders of three tenders. I got waffle fries and he got crinkle fries. Overall I was happy with the food but did not find it to be knock my socks off. Good quality, chicken was good, but it did not wow me.I would have also liked to have more of my sauce options available.
Not Good. Every plate (5 orders) we got, the chicken was over cooked / burnt. Such a disappointment☹️. We have eaten here before. It actually rivaled Zaxby’s in our opinion. I guess they figured since it was a to-go order that it was okay to serve burnt to a crisp food. NEVER AGAIN. Even the Texas Toast was burnt. Complete inedible!

We usually love coming here until today when I got the Mack’s snack box and this is what I received I counted 7 fries and was told that it’s “portion size” maybe next time put that in the menu that you will give little to nothing for $8.95 this place is way to expensive for the portion control they have with food. Spent roughly $30 for two of these boxes and a chicken sandwich and still left hungry

Not your average tenders!! These tenders don’t skimp on size, juiciness, or crunch! I ordered a five piece thinking it was comparable to many other large chains and it was more like a 10-12 piece. Huge pieces, the perfect crunch but not to thick, and the right amount of flavors! Paired with the Garlic Parmesan and Garlic buffalo!

Used to be great but quality & service now gone. We ordered the family meal plus a side of sweet potato fries. Both servings looked like they ran out of fries and gave us whatever they had left. They did not provide any pickles or slaw. When we tried to call the store, we receive a message that stated they cannot get to the phone. On top of that, they want you to order online but pay cash only (3.99% increase if you pay with card). I get a feeling they are clinging to life and they just lost at least one customer.
