I got Tofu Pad Thai, without bean sprouts . The portion was perfect, enough to fill you up and even have left overs depending how hungry you are. I love the texture of the noodles and the spice was the perfect level. The tofu was also crispy on the outside. I got it to go, and it was ready quickly.

Awesome foods, excellent service. Smiley face. Small little cute place. And absolutely the food is authentic Thai.

Got take out yesterday from here and I must say, the food is very tasty and spot on with the spice levels requested. That being said, the portion sizes are really small. I ordered a soup and the pint container was literally half full and it still cost me $7 for that item. The other three dishes we got came in plastic take out trays and all seemed to be half full or lunch portion sizes at best. My entire bill was $55 and we all still felt hungry after eating. Likely won't be going back for takeout anytime soon.

Second time visiting this place this week alone. I was looking for a great sushi place and we discovered so much more with this spot. Our server was gracious, friendly, attentive and everything was served hot and fresh. I see reviews about portion sizes and price, but I disagree. I leave feeling full and I have leftovers for later! As far as pricing, everything is expensive nowadays and I expect to pay a decent amount when I go out for lunch. I think this is a great spot for a quick bite or to take friends and/or family. The environment is welcoming and it's the decor is super cute! I will recommend this place every single time. You can tell they put a lot of pride in their food. 10/10 recommend!

Whenever I see a new Thai place open in Jacksonville, I'm always very skeptical. Especially if the place is an Asian "fusion" restaurant. Most Asian Fusion places are a jack of all trades but master of none. After all, most people choose a specific place to eat to satisfy a craving. I'm even more cautious when I see Phad Se'ew offered. From past experiences with many other Thai restaurants in Jacksonville, it's always an "attempt" at Phad Se'ew and is typically just a dish that resembles phad se'ew but taste nothing like it. I would compare it to asking specifically for Coke and being told "we have Cola". Yeah, it looks the same in a cup, but it surely isn't the same thing. With that said, this location does have authentic tasting Thai phad se'ew. The dead giveaway is that it actually uses Chinese Broccoli rather than regular broccoli. It also has the "char" or seasoned Wok taste on the noodles. Once an authentic Phad Se'ew has been tasted, there's a clear distinction. It creates a baseline for all other places claiming to have Phad Se'ew. So I will give them their deserved credit for the dish. Unfortunately, serving size for the price is ridiculous. It was $15 for the chicken phad se'ew we ordered to go. There wasn't even enough noodles to cover the bottom of the plastic to-go container let alone the container itself. Think of the disappointment you feel when you open a bag of chips and realize it's mostly air with a few bites of chips. That's how it felt with all the dishes we bought. We ordered a few servings of Phad Se'ew and Phad Thai (nothing special from any other Thai restaurant because you can't really mess Phad Thai up, well maybe too much fish sauce. anyway.. it's so common) so we can gauge the flavors and determine whether or not we'd return. Mostly to see if it had that "Je ne sais quoi". Curry dishes are a dime a dozen while the flavor of Noodle dishes, albeit simple, are enhanced by the mastery of the Wok. Overall rating of a 3 because of the unique delicious taste of the Phad Se'ew which isn't common here in Jacksonville. However, it's not a 5 because the value isn't there. It's almost an insult to charge $15 for any prebought noodles that are made into an Asian noodle dish, let alone required me to eat an additional slice of pizza because I didn't feel my lunch filled me up. I'm a lean 5' 8" male about 150 lbs. to put that into perspective.

Great birthday dinner at Mali. The seating area is a little small so go early. We had the classics like Panang and Massaman curries as well as Pad Thai. All were excellent. The shrimp tempura and JB rolls are both great. The sashimi was pretty good too. The Krapao Moo Krob and Kai Dao is a delicious pork belly and fried egg dish. Very good! Service is excellent and fast. Will definitely return.

The food is always DELICIOUS! My team and I go at least once a week (together or separately lol) and we love the small, cute atmosphere and familiar faces serving us.

The BEST sushi and Thai food in Jax! My husband and I have been twice and I'm still dreaming of the green curry!! The green curry is lush, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. The creamy basil flavor is to die for! The first time we went they did not have sushi as there was maintenance going on in their sushi fridge, so we had to come back to get some and it did not disappoint! I also had the Krapao Moo Krob and Kai Dao at the waitress' recommendation and it was great! You get rice, veggies, and crispy pork belly that made you want to ask for more! The restaurant is a quaint, tastefully decorated spot. The vibe is more intimate as they have probably about 8-10 tables inside. Definitely a cute spot for date night or catching up with a friend.

Went again on 7/17. The portion has gotten smaller. Food is still good. Picked up food. Ordered pad Thai and a curry. Right amount of spice and delicious. Will go there again.

As a Thai food expert hailing from New York, where I've tried countless Thai restaurants, I have to say that the food at this place is absolutely delicious and ranks among the best. The dishes are bursting with flavor, without being overly spicy, which is a rare combination. The only downside is that they close promptly at 8 pm and unfortunately, there are no snapper dishes available.

Tried this place tonight and it was very good. Got thai tea and coffee, shrimp tempura roll, cashew sauce beef, drunken noodles, thai fries and tom kha soup. Favorites were the tom kha soup and the cashew sauce beef dish. Will return to try some more stuff!! Would recommend trying this place out.
